  • Kenya hits differently when you aren’t stuck in a tourist trap. For 7 days, our small group of women will trade the noise for something rare: breakfast with giraffes, bush walks with Maasai rangers, and sunset rituals that actually mean something. We’ve smoothed out the logistics and secured amazing women drivers so you can just show up and exhale. It’s comfortable, ethical, and entirely transformative—exactly how travel should feel.

    • We meet at 10:00 am at the Four Points Sheraton, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, for introductions and a pre-safari briefing. This is where you meet your travel companions—women from around the world choosing depth over distraction. We depart for the Giraffe Centre, one of Nairobi’s most enchanting conservation projects. Here, you’ll hand-feed endangered Rothschild’s giraffes from a raised platform, their long tongues wrapping around pellets as they gaze at you with ancient eyes. After lunch, we take a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru, stopping at dramatic Great Rift Valley viewpoints.

Accommodation: Lion Hill Lodge (4-star eco-luxury, inside the park)
      Meals: Lunch, dinner

    • There is a particular magic to a Kenyan morning: cool air, golden light slanting through acacia trees, and a quiet earth. Lake Nakuru is a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos, and we’ll spend the morning tracking them across the savannah. You may also encounter lions lounging in the grass or leopards draped across branches, while thousands of flamingos often turn the lake’s edge pink. The day is yours to swim or journal before an afternoon game drive catches the warm, honeyed light that is a photographer’s dream.

    • After breakfast, we depart for the legendary Masai Mara, the northern heartbeat of the Kenyan ecosystem. The drive takes approximately 4.5 hours across the floor of the Rift Valley, passing through Maasai villages and rolling plains that seem to breathe with light. We’ll enjoy an en route game drive as we enter the reserve, where the horizon widens and the air shifts. We arrive at Mara Bush Camp, our home for the next four nights. This boutique luxury camp features tented suites along the riverbank where hippos grunt and elephants drink.

Accommodation: Mara Bush Camp (5-star eco-luxury tented camp, inside the reserve)

    • This morning, we experience “active luxury” during a guided bush walk with Maasai rangers. With no vehicle between you and the land, you’ll learn to read tracks and identify bird calls. Back at camp, we’ll join a one-hour photography workshop with a resident expert to learn composition and storytelling techniques. In the afternoon, we head back into the Mara plains for a game drive, putting your new skills to use as we search for cheetahs, giraffes, and the elusive leopard. We’ll end the day with a fireside dinner.

    • This is the day that stays with you. We begin by visiting a local primary school to participate in a tree-planting initiative, contributing directly to reforestation and leaving a living legacy in Kenyan soil. During our school visit, we’ll engage with students and teachers to learn about the “Plastics-for-Books” program, witnessing how ethical tourism creates tangible impact. In the evening, we’ll gather by the campfire for a Reiki Circle. Under the African sky, we’ll share a guided session and storytelling, holding space for the emotions that arise.

    • We spend a full day traversing the Mara’s iconic plains, tracking the Big Five and pausing for picnic breakfasts under thorn trees. Your guides will share Maasai folklore and the intricate ecosystem dynamics that allow this landscape to thrive. In the late afternoon, we’ll enjoy a sundowner accompanied by a traditional Maasai blessing. As the sun sets, Maasai elders perform a ceremonial ritual, offering prayers for safe travels and the bonds formed this week. This sacred exchange is a moving conclusion to our journey, standing together as the savannah glows.

    • Enjoy a morning at leisure to sleep in or have a final breakfast overlooking the Mara River. We’ll pack slowly and say our goodbyes to the camp staff before taking a late-morning scenic flight from the Mara airstrip to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. From above, the golden plains and acacia-dotted ridges reveal their full majesty, showing exactly why Kenya is called the soul of the savannah. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey, leaving you forever changed by the spirit of the wild.

    • Most safaris deliver wildlife viewing; this safari delivers transformation. You don’t just watch Kenya—you participate in it. You plant trees and learn traditional practices alongside those who call this land home. You sit in circles with Maasai elders and local children, engaging in a dignified, sacred exchange.

You practice Reiki under the stars and receive blessings that honor the connection between traveler and land. And yes, you see incredible wildlife, but you see it differently. You see it on foot, through a camera lens you’ve learned to master, and from the perspective of guides whose families have tracked these animals for generations.

This is active luxury: the luxury of movement, of meaning, and of coming home to yourself in one of the world’s most alive places.

    • To help you decide if the all-women Kenya safari & cultural tour is the right fit for your travel style, consider the following criteria:

This safari is for you if:

        • You are done with surface-level tourism: You want to move beyond checking off sights and experience a deeper connection to the destination.
        • You want luxury, but not at the expense of ethics: You appreciate high-end service but prioritize sustainability and responsible travel practices.
        • You are ready to move your body: You prefer active engagement, like walking through the bush, rather than spending the entire day seated in a vehicle.
        • You value community impact as much as wildlife encounters: You believe that contributing to the local community is just as important as seeing the animals.
        • You are seeking connection: You are looking to build meaningful bonds with the land, the culture, other women, and yourself.
        • You understand that the best journeys change you: You travel with the intention of returning home with a new perspective or a sense of transformation.

This safari is not for you if:

        • You only want to photograph animals: You are looking for a standard wildlife-viewing trip and are not interested in the cultural or spiritual aspects of the journey.
        • You are uncomfortable getting dusty or walking in the bush: You prefer the sterile environment of a vehicle and are not keen on the physical elements of the landscape.
        • You prefer large group tours: You find comfort in mass tourism and are not looking for the intimacy of a small-group experience.
        • You are not interested in cultural or community engagement: You prefer to keep your travel experiences focused strictly on leisure or nature without local interaction.
    • This all-women safari tour in Kenya is fully beginner-friendly! All that’s required is that you can get in and out of the 4×4 vehicle and that you’re up for a 2-km (1.3-mi) walk. This ensures you can fully participate in the guided bush walk and the community tree-planting initiative. If you can enjoy a few hours of light activity followed by luxury relaxation, you are perfect for this trip.
