  • Set sail through the Cyclades for a week-long Greek holiday that brings together freediving, hiking, sailing, and mindful breathwork. Our journey begins aboard a modern sailboat, the perfect base for exploring secluded bays, hidden underwater caves, and ancient foot-worn paths. We’ll breathe in the tranquility of the sea, practice mindful breathwork each morning, and dive into crystal-clear waters to discover vibrant marine life. On land, we’ll hike to ancient temples and deserted beaches, enjoying the peaceful rhythm of island life. With meals on board, guided sessions, and comfy shared accommodations included, we’re all set for an unforgettable experience where nature leads the way.

    • Welcome to Greece! Arrive in Lavrio Marina to make the 5pm departure. The marina is a 20-minute drive from Athens International Airport and around an hour from Athens city center. We’ll head either to Vourkari port or Otzia bay on Kea Island, where we will anchor for the night and enjoy our first Greek dinner (not included) in a local taverna.

      Accommodation: Bavaria 46 sailboat

    • After our morning breathwork and stretching, we’ll head to Spathi bay on the northeastern side of the island. If the northern winds are kind, there will be numerous diving spots to choose from for our first diving day: around an uninhabited seagull islet, in a secluded bay under the humble gaze of the Kastriani Monastery, or near underwater caves where Monachus Monachus seals have been spotted.

      Meals: Breakfast and lunch

    • Today we’ll head on an exciting hike and explore the Karthea archaeological site. Overlooking two beautiful sandy beaches, Karthea is home to two ancient temples and a recently restored ancient theater. The site is only accessible on foot, making it a unique place on the island to explore picturesque paths that have been in use for thousands of years.

For those seeking a more demanding hike, it will be possible to start directly from Spathi beach and cross a large section of the island on foot. This route will take us inland to the main village of Ioulida and along off-the-beaten paths where we’re more likely to encounter goats and donkeys than people.

    • After our morning routine of stretching and breathing, we will head to Kolona, one of the most beautiful beaches on Kythnos. We can reach it either by foot or by sailing, depending on our mood for the day.

Kolona has a protected bay where we will be able to do some interesting dives. Additionally, we can head down a coastal path that leads to two stunning beaches and the ruins of an old castle, perfect for some exploration.

    • As we make our way back towards Kea, we’ll aim to visit a hidden underwater passage accessible to freedivers of all skill levels. This submerged corridor is illuminated by beams of light filtering through the crystal-clear waters, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere. This route leads to a secret natural pool cradled within an open-air cavern, offering a peaceful and beautiful setting.

    • As our adventure nears its end, we will cross back to the mainland, but not before making a stop north of Makronissos Island for a unique dive. A Piper PA-28-181 Warrior II lies at a depth of 18 m (59 ft) in an area protected from currents and waves. This site has all the essential elements for a memorable dive for the perfect conclusion to this incredible journey.

    • The itinerary may be adjusted or changed depending on weather conditions. There’s no good plan without a backup plan, so in the event of high winds in the Aegean, we will travel to the Saronic islands, a journey with just as many wonders to explore. This alternative route offers pristine waters, a cargo ship wreck dive, a volcanic landscape, a hike through a thousand-year-old olive grove, and hidden volcanic hot springs waiting to be explored.
