  • Get ready for an exhilarating week-long Enduro MTB adventure around Mont Blanc, prioritizing thrilling singletrack descents and utilizing lifts for maximum downhill time. With expert guidance, explore the border regions of Switzerland, Italy, and France, riding legendary trails and soaking in breathtaking alpine scenery. Enjoy comfortable accommodations, delicious meals, and seamless logistics, including luggage transport and technical assistance. Experience the ultimate mountain biking journey with fellow enduro enthusiasts and create unforgettable memories in the heart of the Alps!

    • Arrive in Verbier in the afternoon and settle in the nearby hotel, your accommodation for the night. You can later meet fellow riders and your guide and do a quick ride in the area. Return for dinner, enjoy the beautiful scenery around the hotel and get some good night’s sleep for tomorrow’s riding.

      Meals: Dinner

Verbier MTB Chalet, the starting point during a MTB Tour du Mont Blanc adventure. Guide.
    • We start this tour with a warm up using the Verbier lift and riding some of the best enduro tracks in the area. A lift on the other side of the valley takes us to a descend via amazing flowy forest trails to the Grand St Bernard valley. The bus then takes us to the mountain pass of St Bernard on the border with Italy with its monastery and famous dogs. From the top of the pass, we ride an ancient pilgrim trail and along a century old water channel to the center of Aosta. Time for a well-deserved gelato.

      Meals: Breakfast and lunch

MTBer riding in the Aosta Valley.
    • Continue riding after breakfast! From Aosta, a short uplift takes us to a great trail on the south side of the valley. After lunch, we ride a super long trail from the Pila bike park down to the valley, then the bus takes us to our overnight spot in La Thuile, almost on the border with France.

      Meals: Breakfast and lunch

      Alpine landscape near La Thuile.
    • Today, we can choose between several options depending on the weather. We’ll first ride some La Thuile classic trails, parts of which are also ridden during the Enduro world series. Then we head towards the French border for a long descent to Bourg St Maurice to our accommodation for the night.

      Meals: Breakfast and lunch

Bourg Saint Maurice, in the French Alps.
    • Day 5 is a day to relax or leisurely ride some beautiful bike park trails around Les Arcs, of course using the lifts. For enthusiasts, there are also a good number of rougher and longer descents on fantastic natural trails all the way down to the valley. In the late afternoon, we drive to a rustic mountain hut for an evening to enjoy the stars as there is no light pollution and no phone reception either.

      Meals: Breakfast and lunch

Enduro mountain bikers riding along the Tour du Mont Blanc.
    • After breakfast, it’s time to warm up the legs and start with a climb to enjoy the view of Lac de Roseland and the distant peak of Mont Blanc. A fun trail with occasional climbs leads us to the end of the lake, after which a short climb initiates the descent to Beaufort for a well-deserved coffee and perhaps a tasty piece of cake or fruit tart. Our bus then takes us to the top of the Col de Joly, from where you have a fantastic view of Mont Blanc. We then descend to Les Contamines and St Gervais to take the Tramway du Mont Blanc in the late afternoon. From the Col de Voza we have a fantastic view of the Chamonix Valley. A fun bike park trail descent brings us down to the valley and we have a leisurely ride along the river to the hotel.

      Meals: Breakfast and lunch

      Mountain bikers enjoy the views
    • After breakfast with fresh croissants, we drive to Le Tour to take the lift almost to the top of the mountain pass, which is also a border with Switzerland. An impressive trail at altitude is followed by a fantastic descent into Switzerland. A short climb or uplift takes us to the Col de Forclaz for the descent ending in the vineyards above the town of Martigny. A final uplift takes us to a pass above the valley where we started the tour. A nice flowing descent to finish the tour in the garden of our chalet. Big stories and great memories of the week will be shared while enjoying Pizza from our woodfired oven in the garden.

      Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

    • For these Tour du Mont Blanc MTB guided adventures, you need to be in excellent physical shape. This is a challenging journey for adventurous mountain bikers, capable of handling their mountain bike on steep technical climbs and descents on singletrack. Riding on the roads will be reduced to a minimum so, you will mostly ride in the dirt. You should be able to ride for hours without stopping and handle 6-hour days, 6 days in a row. Keep in mind that there will always be a guide by your side monitoring your technique and making sure everybody can handle the rides while having a great time. There will also be plenty of opportunities to take breaks in beautiful locations.

    • You should have previous mountain biking experience to participate in these Tour du Mont Blanc MTB trips. Experience of riding through mid-level mountains is necessary, but you needn’t necessarily have experience of riding in alpine terrain. You will be riding for up to 50 km (30 miles) a day with total elevation gains of up to 1,600 m/5,250 ft (ascents will be reduced to a minimum during the Enduro version of the tour), while carrying a backpack weighing between 6 and 10 kg (13-22 lbs).

Some of the skills needed for the tour include riding with exposure, controlling your bike on moderate steep singletracks, and descents and climbs with some loose rocks and roots, handling small unexpected steps, rock gardens, and occasional little jumps. You should be able to determine when to walk, due to the terrain being too difficult or dangerous. Your guide will monitor your technique, take care of the logistics and help you overcome any obstacles.

    • Here’s what you’ll need:

        • Comfortable riding or athletic clothing, preferably moisture wicking or synthetic material
        • Suitcase for all of your items (daily luggage transfer and logistics included)
        • Mountain bike (rental available for an additional fee)
        • Backpack large enough to carry all the items you might need during one day
        • Sneakers or sport shoes
        • Breathable outside layer or jacket
        • Sunglasses
        • Water bottle or hydration bladder
        • Leisure clothing for your free time
        • Biking gloves — optional but recommended
        • Regular mountain bike helmet
        • Flexible knee and elbow pads — optional
        • Toiletries (sunscreen, hand sanitizer, bug spray, toilet paper, etc.)

Bring comfortable clothes appropriate for varying weather conditions. You will receive a more comprehensive list upon booking.

    • For this Tour du Mont Blanc MTB trip, your bike should be in excellent condition for this trip.

        • A full-suspension setup with gearing suited for steep climbs is highly recommended.
        • Opt for the lightest gears possible: on 2×11 setups, a 22 or 24 chainring with a 42 cassette; on 1×11 or 1×12, a 28 or 30 chainring (most stock setups use 32 or 34, which can be too heavy). When in doubt, go easier—you’ll be glad you did.
        • For tires, choose a wider option of at least 2.3” with an all-round tread; lightweight XC tires won’t be suitable.
        • A dropper seat post is strongly recommended, or at least a simple way to lower your saddle manually.

If you’d like to skip the hassle of bringing your own bike, you can rent one with your guides at booking—and they’ll set you up with a bike!
