Upon arrival, we’ll tackle our first hike: Reinebringen. This iconic trail features steps constructed by Nepalese Sherpas, leading to one of Lofoten’s most breathtaking viewpoints. After celebrating our summit, we’ll relax at a local cafe before heading to our traditional Rorbu—a cozy, restored fisherman’s cabin that will be our home for the night.

Over four hours, we’ll glide past towering mountains, spot local wildlife, and marvel at the rugged beauty of Lofoten from sea level. From the top, you’ll be treated to a panorama showcasing everything Lofoten is famous for: turquoise fjords, white sand beaches, and jagged peaks. For those feeling less energetic, the option to relax on the beach is always there. We’ll end our day at a modern hotel with waterfront views and a steamy hot tub at our disposal. If we’re lucky, we may catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights!

If we’re feeling bold, we’ll grab our swimsuits and dip above the Arctic Circle! Those of us who’d rather stay dry can chat over coffee and soak up the scenery. We’ll cap off the day with a special 3-course Norwegian dinner.

Either way, we’ll get a unique view of the small inhabited islands of Henningsvær. In the afternoon, we’ll explore Henningsvær, an iconic town with a population of just 500 people. Known for its climbing school and artisanal shops, it’s the perfect place for a bit of culture and maybe a well-deserved treat from a local bakery. After filling up on fantastic seafood, we’ll drive to our second Rorbu and final accommodation change in Kabelvåg. Evening dips in the ocean are encouraged!
