The Verbier trail network is unrivaled and your guide knows the best places to take you day after day, finishing with a laid-back afternoon in your luxurious chalet. After a week of this all-inclusive tour, you will walk away with new friendships with other fierce women, recharged by pristine Alpine nature, and more confident on two wheels.
Arrive in your chalet in Verbier by 4 pm, settle in and meet your guides and fellow riders. You will do a bike and gear check before dinner, during which you will get a chance to fully make yourself at home and spend some quality time with your group. At around 8 pm, a briefing with your guide will take place—you will discuss the program, personal goals and expectations, and receive some useful trail information. Get a good night’s sleep as your Verbier guided riding tour starts tomorrow.
Your days will begin with a laidback breakfast on the terrace, soaking in the morning sun and taking in the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. By 9.15 am, you will discuss the objectives for that day with your guide. Each morning will be dedicated to riding skills and instruction. After lunch, enjoy the rides and test the newly mastered skills. The regular and the advanced programs differ mainly in the type of terrain covered and how strenuous riding is, while other things remain the same. Needless to say, there will always be time for numerous breaks allowing you to take in the views of the snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and beautiful alpine fields. By 16.30 pm, you will have returned to your chalet. Unwind, stretch and get ready for a three-course dinner and other activities in the area according to your personal interests.

What you get on this adventure:
Mountain bike rentals are available for an added fee of $310.
What’s not included:
The regular Verbier MTB guided adventure, which takes place on July 9th-15th, 2023, is suitable for intermediate riders. This means that you’re good to go if you’ve just started trail mountain riding but have never tested your skills in high-altitude mountains. You should be able to handle all your local loops, control your speed, and do some hilly sections. Intermediate riders should have some experience with different riding locations and mid-level mountains and should be able to ride moderately steep singletrack descents and climbs with some loose rocks and roots, as well as be comfortable with some small unexpected steps and rock gardens.
The advanced Verbier MTB week-long adventure, taking place on September 3rd – 9th and 17th – 23rd, 2023, is suitable for those who love technical sections and have experience in alpine terrain. You should be in full control while riding any kind of singletrack, red runs in the bike park, and technical steep trails with stone drops, rough roots, small drops, and occasional little jumps.
The long-weekend MTB getaway is suitable for both intermediate and advanced riders.
Keep in mind that your guide will follow you every step of the way and give appropriate instruction, adjust the pace/terrain when necessary and make breaks whenever riding becomes too strenuous.
Extensive riding experience is necessary for both the regular and the advanced adventure option. That said, no biking experience in alpine terrain is necessary for the intermediate tour. You should be comfortable with pedaling for around 3 hours a day and crossing up to 30 km (around 20 miles), with an elevation gain of around 600 m (1,970 ft).
For the advanced tour, MTB experience in alpine terrain is necessary. You should be able to ride for 6+ hours in challenging terrain, crossing over 50 km (31 miles), with an elevation gain of 1,600 m (5,250 ft). Keep in mind that you will receive extensive instruction and that your guide will find a balance between “pure” riding and daily skills training. Also, the pace and the terrain can be adjusted if you encounter any difficulties.
For the long-weekend getaway, MTB experience is also necessary, but both intermediate and advanced riders are more than welcome.
