  • Arrive in Slocan Thursday evening and settle in at the homestead while enjoying an outdoor dinner. Each day you will explore a different part of the valley through scenic point-to-point rides and finish the day by the lake and return to your base for dinner. During the rides elevation gains can go from 1,500 ft (400 m) all the way to 13,000 ft (4,000 m) and up—depending on your skill level. Likewise, you can ride for a few hours or spend the entire day on the trails—everything can be tailored to the group’s wishes! Your adventure will finish with an après by the Slocan River.

    • What you get on this adventure:

        • An experienced MTB guide with extensive local knowledge of the area
        • 3 days of mountain biking in West Kootenays

        • Camping/cabin accommodations
        • Support vehicle and staff

Generally speaking, this tour requires you to be a physically active person with previous MTB experience. Since this is a supported mountain biking adventure, there will be a staffed vehicle following you and helping you whenever necessary. After booking, your guide will determine the group’s skill level and capabilities and cater the day to your specific abilities.

    • For this tour, you should have prior mountain biking experience. However, riders with minimal mountain biking experience and good road biking skills or a strong fitness level should be suitable for this intermediate tour. A guide will further explain the different mountain bike techniques and body positions to get you feeling comfortable on the trail. You will progress at a level that is consistent with your comfort. Once you finally get the hang of trail riding, you will only want more!
