Cancellation policy

The percentages in the table above are of the full trip price, not of what you’ve paid at the time of booking.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of booking receive a full refund on all plans, including booking fees and insurance. After the 48-hour window, your refund depends on your selected protection plan and when you cancel. Core and Premium plans extend your cancellation rights beyond the Standard policy:

  • With Core, a covered reason gets you 75% of your trip cost back — even the day before you go.
  • With Premium, a covered reason gets you 100% of your trip cost back — and any other reason gets you 75%, right up to the day you leave.
What counts as a covered reason
  • Sudden illness or injury — yours, a travel companion’s, or an immediate family member’s, confirmed by a doctor
  • Death of a traveler or an immediate family member
  • A natural disaster affecting your destination or your departure point
  • A government travel advisory against travel to your destination

Changing your mind isn’t a covered reason. Premium is the only plan that covers that. Documentation is required for all insurance claims.

Everything the travel insurance covers

Both plans include travel insurance through Redpoint Travel Protection. Core insures 75% of your trip cost; Premium insures 100%.

Maximum per person:

  • Trip cancellation — up to 100% of your trip cost
  • Cancel for any reason — up to 75% of your trip cost (Premium only)
  • Trip interruption — 150% of the trip cost limit
  • Trip delay — $200 a day, $1,000 max
  • Itinerary change — $250
  • Single occupancy supplement — up to 100% of trip cost
  • Missed connection — $1,000
  • Travel inconvenience — $250 each, $750 max
  • Pet return — $1,000 per pet
  • Baggage and personal effects — $2,500, max $300 an item
  • Baggage delay — $600, after 12 hours
  • Baggage delivery — $100 per trip
  • Emergency medical expenses — $100,000
  • Medical evacuation and repatriation — up to $1,000,000

These are maximums. What a claim actually pays depends on what you can document and on the policy’s exclusions — pre-existing conditions and undeclared activities among them. We’ll send the full policy wording with your confirmation.

  • Come join us for a six-day, fully guided adventure through the hidden trails of the Jeseníky Mountains! Designed for beginners and intermediates, it blends flowy bike-park riding, forest enduro trails and scenic alpine e-bike rides without the crowds. With expert local leadership, a comfortable mountain hotel and all logistics taken care of, it’s a fun, relaxed and refreshingly different European mountain biking holiday.

    • Your guide meets you at Katowice Airport in Poland for the roughly 2-hour transfer into the Jeseníky Mountains in a comfortable van with bike holders. After arriving at Kopřivná Resort, we gather for lunch and a relaxed welcome meeting to go over the week ahead. Then it’s time to set up the bikes. If you’re renting, you’ll be fitted with a full-suspension enduro bike (170 mm front / 160 mm rear). In the afternoon, we head out for a short, easy spin around the bike park and the village of Malá Morávka to stretch our legs and shake off travel stiffness.

      Accommodation: Kopřivná Resort, twin-share room

    • After breakfast, we stock up on trail snacks and head into Kopřivná, one of the best bike parks in Eastern Europe. The morning is all about exploring its full mix of toboggan-like flow trails, berms, side hits, and jumps, from beginner-friendly tables to pro-level air lines. The high-speed chairlift gets us back to the top in about eight minutes, so there’s plenty of time to find your rhythm. After lunch at the resort, your guide runs a skills session with personalized tips to help you gain confidence, control, and speed.

    • We’re back on the lifts for another round of fun and progression—more flow, more air, more style. The morning is a chance to warm up and put yesterday’s new skills into practice. After lunch, we keep things light and ride simply for the joy of it, while your guide captures photos and short videos on your favorite sections. Later in the afternoon, we return the enduro bikes and switch to full-suspension e-bikes for the mountain rides ahead.

    • Leaving the lifts behind, today we head deep into the Jeseníky Mountains on e-bikes. The route winds through dense pine forests carpeted with moss and blueberries, following quiet forest roads with occasional singletrack detours. We reach Praděd, the highest peak in the region, with 360° views stretching as far as Poland and Slovakia, and stop for lunch at Praděd Tower. In the afternoon, we follow winding mountain roads to Dlouhé Stráně, a hydroelectric power plant built through a mountain, with its upper reservoir sitting right on the summit. After a big day in the saddle, it might be the perfect evening for a massage.

      downhill riding
    • Our e-bike adventure continues on a network of local enduro and downhill trails, a playground of leafy descents, rooty switchbacks, and mossy pine sections that keep you alert and smiling. We stop for lunch at our favorite local restaurant, then head back out for more enduro and downhill fun in the afternoon. Back at the hotel, there’s time for a cold post-ride beer before we gather for our grand finale dinner to celebrate a week of great riding.

      riding in the czech mountains
    • We squeeze in one final ride before it’s time to head home. After breakfast and check-out, we head out onto a few of our favorite local trails around the village for a last taste of Jeseníky riding. Expect more of the terrain you discovered yesterday: narrow forest paths, roots, rocks, and a few loamy sections at their best. After lunch, we return the bikes, and your guide drives you back to Katowice Airport. The transfer takes approximately 2 hours.

    • This tour is suitable for beginner to intermediate riders. Part of the experience includes a skills session with personalized tips on technique, helping you gain confidence, control, and speed on the trail.

The first half of the week is spent in the lift-accessed bike park, so there’s no climbing involved. The second half is ridden on full-suspension e-bikes. The longest day covers around 70 km (43 mi) with 2,000 m (6,562 ft) of elevation gain, so a good base level of fitness helps.

Most guests have some prior mountain biking experience and are familiar with basic bike handling. To prepare, we recommend riding your local trails a few times a month—regular practice makes a big difference. Once on the trip, your guide will help fine-tune techniques and offer tips tailored to your riding level.

    • No problem at all. This tour is suitable for beginners, and part of the experience includes a basic mountain biking lesson to help you get comfortable on the bike. If you’re active and open to learning, you’ll be guided through the fundamentals on easy terrain before heading out. Regular riding beforehand helps, but you don’t need prior mountain biking experience to join—your guide will adapt the pace and techniques to the group.

    • The first half of the week is ridden on enduro bikes, and the second half on e-bikes. If you rent through us, you’ll get:

        • Enduro bike — a full-suspension bike along the lines of a Norco Sight A2, with 170 mm of travel up front and 160 mm in the rear, built for control and confidence in the bike park and on technical descents.
        • E-MTB — a full-suspension electric mountain bike with 160 mm front and 150 mm rear travel, delivering smooth, consistent power for full days in the mountains.

Bike rental covers both bikes, you can add it to your booking at checkout. You’re welcome to bring your own bike instead.

    • The Jeseníky Mountains have a generally mild climate. In summer, daytime temperatures typically range from 20–25°C (68–77°F), with cooler evenings around 10–15°C (50–59°F). Expect a mix of sunshine and occasional rain showers. Mountain weather can be unpredictable, so some ride days may be adjusted to make the most of local conditions.

    • The Czech Republic is a welcoming country that has changed a lot over the past decades. Hospitality and service weren’t always a focus during the communist era, but they’ve been improving ever since. Locals may seem a bit reserved at first, but you’ll soon notice the warmth beneath the surface, and Czech hospitality often speaks through action. Traveling with an open mind and a sense of humor goes a long way, and your guide is there to bridge cultures along the way. After the ride, try a world-famous Czech beer or a shot of slivovice, a potent fruit-based spirit beloved throughout the region.
