This Iceland Jeep safari is suitable for most people, as there’s only 2-3 hours of walking at a slow pace, with breaks. No hiking experience is required, all you’ve got to do is be able to walk on uneven surfaces, though trails are generally of good quality.

A Super Jeep is a highly modified vehicle equipped with 38″ to 50″ tires and a robust suspension system, uniquely designed to handle Iceland’s diverse terrains and conditions.
Super Jeeps are modified to handle the challenging terrains of Iceland, ensuring safety during tours. A Super Jeep can accommodate up to 19 riders, making it ideal for large families and small tour groups.

- Hiking poles — optional
- Water bottle or hydration bladder (2L capacity)

Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season. Layers are best and don’t wear jeans.

- For this Iceland Jeep safari, the usual client-to-guide ratio is 16:1.
- It takes a minimum of 2 people for this tour to operate. The maximum group size is set at 16 participants.
Hiking in Iceland can be arranged for larger groups. Contact us to make arrangements.
Min. age requirements

- If you are older than 18, you’re good to go.
- Minors older than 6 may be permitted to join the Iceland Jeep safari on a case-by-case basis, but must be in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.

The starting point of your Iceland Jeep safari tour is Reykjavik. To get there, most people fly into Keflavik International Airport (KEF). From there, you can take a shuttle service, public transport, or rent a car to reach Reykjavik.
Once you’re there, your guides will pick you up at 9am at one of the many pick-up locations in Reykjavik. You can choose your preferred pick-up spot at checkout.
