Deposits

When booking a trip, you can either pay for it in full or reserve your spot with a 30% deposit. The remaining 70% of the trip price is to be paid 90 days prior to departure, at the latest.

Cancellations

After 48 hours, booking fees are non-refundable in all cases. You can choose one of 57hours’ flexibility options:

  • If canceled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
  • If canceled 60 or more days before departure, a 70% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled within 59 days of departure, no refund will be issued.
  • Booking fees are non-refundable after a 48-hour grace period.
Flexible
  • If canceled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
  • If canceled 60 or more days before departure, a full refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled 30-59 days before departure, a 50% refund of the total trip price will be issued.

We’ll soak in the Blue Lagoon, hike across a glacier, explore a dazzling ice cave, and marvel at the power of Gullfoss. But don’t worry, we’re not roughing it. Every morning starts with a first-class breakfast, and every night ends in a high-end hotel. Whether we’re chasing waterfalls or strolling black-sand beaches, this trip proves we don’t have to choose between adventure and luxury.

    • Our Icelandic adventure begins with a warm welcome at Keflavik Airport, amidst the rugged landscapes. We’ll relax and rejuvenate at the famous Blue Lagoon, known for its soothing mineral waters. As the day ends, we’ll find comfort in the lively city of Reykjavik, preparing for the days ahead.

    • On Day 2, we’ll explore the captivating South Coast, where nature’s beauty unfolds with every mile. From powerful waterfalls to black sand beaches, we’ll immerse ourselves in the raw charm of Iceland’s landscapes. As evening falls, we’ll settle in the cozy village of Kirkjubaeklustur, surrounded by serene vistas.

    • Today, we will depart the hotel around 9am and aim for Falljökull or Breidamerjökull, and then go on a 2 or 3-hour glacier hike, where we will explore moulins, crevasses, and more. There’s an option for kayaking between icebergs today (for an additional fee, from May to October only). Ice climbing is also possible for those who dare to do so.

    • On Day 4, we’ll explore the quieter spots along Iceland’s South Coast. We’ll enjoy the solitude of Secret Black Beach and the scenic beauty of Kvernufoss waterfall. Later on, we’ll visit the serene Katla ice cave to witness its unique formations. The day winds down in the peaceful town of Hella, surrounded by tranquil landscapes.

    • Today, we’ll visit the iconic Golden Circle and explore the majestic Gullfoss waterfall and Thingvellir National Park, where we’ll witness the geothermal wonders of Geysir. There’s an option for snowmobiling and horseback riding today (for an additional fee). At the end of the day, our private guide and driver will drop us off at our accommodation in Reykjavik.

    • Depending on the time of your flight, you might have a bit of time to explore Reykjavik on your own today. The driver will pick you up at your request from your accommodation, and drop you off at the Keflavik International Airport.

    • This Iceland South Coast luxury tour is rated easy, which means that a basic level of fitness is required to participate.

      You should be able to hike for at least 2-3 hours a day in varied terrain and with some elevation gain. If you don’t think you’re ready to do so, it’s recommended to do some light cardio training, ideally hiking, 1-3 times a week in advance of the trip.

      Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season. Layers are best and don’t wear jeans.

    • Group sizes and pricing

        • For this private Iceland South Coast luxury tour, the usual client-to-guide ratio is up to 19:1.
        • The maximum group size is set at 19 participants. There is no minimum group size, and solo travelers are welcome to book this private trip.
        • The cost per person decreases as the group grows, so it’s the perfect opportunity to hike with friends and family!

      Min. age requirements

      There is no age minimum for private adventures. If you’d love to bring your young ones along, contact us before booking to make arrangements!

    • The starting point of your Iceland South Coast luxury tour is Keflavik International Airport (KEF).

      Once you’re there, you will meet your guide, and you’ll be transferred to the starting point of the adventure. Alternatively, the guide can pick you up at your hotel. The guide will provide more information before the adventure begins.
