Meet your guide in Squamish early in the morning before hopping into a 4×4 for a scenic drive up to Brohm Ridge. From there, you’ll hike across alpine terrain toward the Shark’s Fin on the north side of Garibaldi, where you’ll set up camp in a stunning backcountry setting. After settling in, enjoy a short glacier walk to preview the route for the next day’s climb—a chance to stretch your legs, review terrain, and soak in the high mountain views.

Rise early for an alpine start and begin the ascent of the Warren Glacier toward the Northeast Face of Mount Garibaldi. Climb moderate ice and snow—up to 45 degrees—until you reach the ridge, then enjoy a scenic scramble along it all the way to the summit, where panoramic views over Howe Sound reward your efforts. After soaking in the summit experience, descend the same route back to camp, pack up, and hike out to Brohm Ridge. You’ll return to Squamish in time for a well-earned dinner and one last look at Garibaldi from a local patio.

In order to go on this Mount Garibaldi guided climb, you should have good fitness and some previous mountaineering experience. The route involves glacier travel, technical crevasses, snow and ice climbing to 45 degrees and a challenging bergschrund crossing.
Expect climbing up to 1,500 m (4,920 ft), with 600-800 m (1,970-2,625 ft) on summit day.

- It takes a minimum of 2 people for this tour to operate, and that’s also the maximum.

- Minors younger than 18 may be permitted to join the Mount Garibaldi guided climb on a case-by-case basis, but must be in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.

The starting point of your Mount Garibaldi guided climb is Squamish, BC. To get there, most people fly into Vancouver International Airport (YVR). From there, you can take a shuttle service or rent a car to reach Squamish—it will take you 1.5 to 2 hours.
You’ll meet your guide in Squamish in the early morning, so if you’re flying in or coming from afar, we recommend getting to Squamish at least a day earlier.
