Travel and medical insurance available
  • Seven days in Piedmont's UNESCO-listed Langhe hills on premium e-MTBs, split between two boutique hotels and five days of riding across vineyard singletracks, Alta Langa backcountry, and the legendary enduro stages of Priero. The e-bikes open up terrain that would otherwise chew through your legs, keeping the focus on flow, views, and the kind of days that only happen in Italy. A private winery cellar lunch breaks up the week mid-ride. Two certified guides handle everything on the ground, including daily bike care, so arriving back to the hotel each evening means switching gears from cycling to Piedmontese cuisine. Join one of Italy's most rewarding e-MTB weeks.

    • Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be transferred into the heart of the Langhe hills via a private van. No riding today. The afternoon is for unpacking, professional bike assembly, and suspension setup with the guides. Once everything’s dialed, we gather in the hotel gardens for welcome drinks, introductions, and a briefing before the week begins.

      Meals: Dinner
      Accommodation: Villa Beccaris, Monforte d’Alba

      Welcome to Langhe
    • A first full day in the saddle through the deep forests, sandy ridges, and medieval castle perches of the Roero hills. We ride fast flow trails, stopping for a traditional lunch along the route. The afternoon is free: time by the hotel pool, a wander through Monforte d’Alba, or simply letting the legs rest. Guides wash and prep the bikes for the morning.

      Meals: Breakfast, dinner
      Cycling: 40 km (25 mi), 5–6 hrs
      Elevation: +800 m (+2,625 ft) / -800 m (-2,625 ft)
      Accommodation: Villa Beccaris, Monforte d’Alba

      Langhe woods E-mtb
    • Deep into the rolling Langhe on e-MTBs, riding point-to-point through UNESCO-listed vineyard corridors. We thread through the legendary crus of Barolo, La Morra, and Monforte d’Alba on fast trails that cut straight through the vines, with snow-capped Alps stretching across the horizon. A stop in a traditional hilltop piazza breaks up the ride for a light lunch before the afternoon free at the hotel.

      Meals: Breakfast, dinner
      Cycling: 45 km (28 mi), 5–6 hrs
      Elevation: +1,000 m (+3,280 ft) / -1,000 m (-3,280 ft)
      Accommodation: Villa Beccaris, Monforte d’Alba

      Barolo landscape
    • We check out of Monforte and open the day on the steepest, most technical singletracks in the area, with shuttle support to maximize downhill time. While we ride, luggage is transferred to our second base by the private van. Midday brings a stop at Rachilana, a family-run sustainable winery in the Langhe, for a private cellar tasting and a home-cooked Piedmontese lunch. We then transfer to Borgomale and settle in for the second half of the week.

      Meals: Breakfast, dinner
      Cycling: 30 km (19 mi), 5–6 hrs
      Elevation: +700 m (+2,295 ft) / -700 m (-2,295 ft)
      Accommodation: Relais Montemarino, Borgomale

      Wine tasting cellar
    • We push into the wilder, higher terrain of the Alta Langa straight from the hotel. The e-bikes earn their keep on the long climbs toward the backcountry of Castino, where a flowing network of natural singletracks cuts through hazelnut orchards and dense woodland. It’s a completely different landscape from the vineyard days: rougher, wider open, and more raw in feel. We stop for lunch on the trail before pedaling back.

      Meals: Breakfast, dinner
      Cycling: 40 km (25 mi), 5–6 hrs
      Elevation: +1,100 m (+3,610 ft) / -1,100 m (-3,610 ft)
      Accommodation: Relais Montemarino, Borgomale

      Langhe bikers in woods
    • A private van takes us to Priero, a venue with serious pedigree in Italian Superenduro racing. Once there, the e-bikes carry us up and the trails carry us back down: fast, perfectly shaped bermed descents loaded with flow and technical features. Lunch is at a local agriturismo before the van returns us to the hotel for the final evening’s celebration dinner.

      Meals: Breakfast, dinner
      Cycling: 40 km (25 mi), 6–7 hrs
      Elevation: +1,200 m (+3,940 ft) / -1,200 m (-3,940 ft)
      Accommodation: Relais Montemarino, Borgomale

      Agriturismo lunch in italy

Riders must be comfortable on natural singletrack, switchbacks, roots, and loose terrain. Prior experience on off-road mountain bike trails is mandatory. To prepare, consistent cardio training 2–3 times per week for at least two months before the tour is highly recommended, combined with longer weekend mountain bike rides to get used to consecutive days in the saddle.
