When booking a trip, you can either pay for it in full or reserve your spot with a 30% deposit. The remaining 70% of the trip price is to be paid 90 days prior to departure, at the latest.

Cancellations

After 48 hours, booking fees are non-refundable in all cases. You can choose one of 57hours’ flexibility options:

  • If canceled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
  • If canceled 60 or more days before departure, a 70% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled within 59 days of departure, no refund will be issued.
  • Booking fees are non-refundable after a 48 hours grace period.
Flexible
  • If canceled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
  • If canceled 60 or more days before departure, a full refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled 30-59 days before departure, a 50% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled within 29 days of departure, no refund will be issued.

  • Get ready for four unforgettable days in the Spanish Pyrenees! We’ll trek through Aigüestortes National Park from peak-wrapped valley to crystal lake, with each day bringing fresh mountain terrain to explore. An experienced mountain guide leads the way at a steady pace, while three nights of full-board accommodation in well-positioned mountain refuges take care of the rest. All you need to do is show up ready for pure, unfiltered mountain time in some of Europe's finest alpine terrain!

    • Our trek starts in the parking lot in Conangles. From there, we’ll make our way up to the Mountain Hut of Restanca. We’ll hike through beautiful Pyrenean landscapes, crossing streams and forests, with some steep sections that reward us with incredible views. This is a challenging, but rewarding first day as we settle into the rhythm of the trail.

      Hiking time: 5-6 hours
      Elevation: +909 m / +2,982 ft, -467 m / -1,532 ft
      Accommodation: Mountain hut of Restanca

    • Today’s route takes us from the Restanca hut to Saboredo hut. This is our most demanding day, as we’ll cover varied terrain with both steep ascents and descents. Along the way, we’ll take in sweeping mountain views, pristine lakes, and the rugged beauty of the Pyrenees.

      Hiking distance: 12.3 km / 7.6 miles
      Hiking time: 7-8 hours
      Elevation: +815 m / +2,673 ft, -1,115 m / -3,658 ft
      Accommodation: Mountain hut of Saboredo

    • Today’s hike is shorter, allowing us to rest and enjoy the scenery more leisurely. We’ll have time to explore the area around Saboredo or make an optional climb to a nearby peak for fantastic views. Afterward, we head to the Mountain Hut of Amitges. This shorter day will give us a chance to recharge before our final hike.

      Hiking time: 2 hours
      Elevation: +127 m / +417 ft, -335 m / -1,099 ft
      Accommodation: Mountain hut of Amitges

    • On our final day, we make our way from Amitges toward Aigüestortes National Park, where our hike concludes. The route includes a gentle ascent followed by a long descent, offering spectacular views of mountain lakes and the rolling landscape below. After 6-7 hours on the trail, we’ll reach our pickup point in Aigüestortes, where we say our goodbyes and pick up a taxi to the airport or our next destination!

      Hiking time: 6-7 hours
      Elevation: +323 m / +1,060 ft, -790 m / -2,592 ft

    • To fully enjoy this hiking tour in the Spanish Pyrenees, you’ll need solid fitness and some prior hiking experience on challenging terrain. You’ll hike for 6-8 hours for four consecutive days, with 700 to 1,200 m / 2,297 to 3,937 ft of elevation gain. If you’re used to hiking longer distances with significant elevation gain, you’ll be in good shape for this trek. Consider preparing for this adventure with regular endurance training, such as running, cycling, or stair climbing.

    • Here’s a list of the equipment you need to bring:

        • Mountain backpack large enough to carry all the items listed (around a 25-40L bag)

      Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season. Layers are best and don’t wear jeans.

    • Group sizes and pricing

        • For this hiking tour in the Spanish Pyrenees, the usual client-to-guide ratio is 7:1.
        • It takes a minimum of 2 people for this tour to operate. The maximum group size is set at 6 or 7 participants.

      A ​​hiking tour in the Spanish Pyrenees can be arranged for larger groups. Contact us to make arrangements.

      Min. age requirements

        • If you are older than 18, you’re good to go.
        • Minors younger than 18 may be permitted to join the hike on a case-by-case basis, but must be in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.

      If your group has hikers under the age of 18, contact us prior to booking to make arrangements.

    • The starting point of your hiking tour in the Spanish Pyrenees is the Conangles mountain hut near Vielha e Mijaran in Catalonia, Spain. To get there, most people fly into Barcelona Airport (BCN), 3.5 hours away. From there, you can take a shuttle service, public transport, or rent a car to reach the mountain hut, where you’ll meet your guide on Day 1. If you need assistance arranging your trip from the airport to the area, feel free to leave a note for the guide upon checkout.

      Please note that you’ll go on your first hike already on Day 1 of the tour, so consider arriving in the area a day or two before the start of the trip.
