We begin with a relaxed, scenic hike in a quiet corner of northwest Montana, designed to warm up the legs and ease into the rhythm of the trip. The trail winds past several glacially carved lakes, with calm reflections and frequent opportunities to spot waterfowl. We hike at an unhurried pace, taking time to pause, snack, and enjoy the setting. In the afternoon, we settle into the historic Belton Chalet, just steps from the entrance to Glacier National Park, and enjoy a relaxed evening together.
