We’ll stay at a gorgeous chalet in the mountains, have an in-house chef, and we’ll take you to the most spectacular trails of Verbier, totally tailored to your skill level. This adventure is perfect for intermediate to advanced mountain bikers looking for the ultimate mix of amazing MTB and yoga.

    • Make your way to Verbier, where you can check into the chalet from 4 pm onwards. Settle in, meet other guests, make sure your bike is all set, and join us for our first yoga session before enjoying a delicious dinner!

      The Bike Chalet accomodation
    • After a yoga session to start the morning, we’ll head out for a warm-up ride in Verbier. We’ll use lifts to go from 900 m (2,950 ft) to 2,200 m (7,220 ft), where we’ll traverse or climb higher to a beautiful single trail to get used to the altitude. We use a perfect mix of the bike park and natural enduro trails, giving everyone the opportunity to ride at their own level. We’ll offer riding tips and show you the best photo spots, with the option to do several uplifts per day depending on the group’s speed. While there is always the option to climb higher, the local lifts provide access to the area’s best trails before we return for our pre-dinner yoga session.

      High Alps MTB, two riders
    • After our morning yoga session, we’ll use this day to do some shuttled rides in the Verbier area and further up the valley. We’ll hit Pas du lin with its beautiful loamy, and sometimes technical terrain, passing old mines and finishing with a roller coaster trail that not many people know about. The second shuttle takes us to a beautiful place we call Little Canada, featuring a stunning lake and a flowy, long descent back to the valley before we return home for our evening yoga session.

Mountains and forests, MTB in Verbier
    • After waking up with a restorative yoga flow, we’ll be out on the Verbier trails again, making the most of the lift system. We’re turning up the intensity today, seeking out steeper, more technical lines to push your skills to the next level. It’s a day for focus and challenge, but we’ll have a second yoga session waiting for you at the lodge to stretch out and reset before dinner.

Big group MTB around Verbier in the Alps
    • After a sunrise flow to get our bodies moving, we’ll head out to explore the wonderful trails in the Rhone Valley. Our shuttle will drop us at different lifts to access beautiful riding areas like Crans Montana, Leuk, Jeizinen, or Lötschental, where we’ll spend the day deep in the mountains. Once we’ve had our fill of the valley’s best lines, we’ll return to the chalet for a second yoga session to unwind before dinner.

Riding in the Alpine scenery on a sunny day
    • Let’s end our week with a bang! Following a yoga session, we’ll tackle the other side of Verbier with an epic ride off the Col de Mille. Starting off with a shuttle, we’ll then have to cover around 800 m by riding and hiking. Beautiful traverses and technical descents are ahead of us—Verbier does not get any better than this. The other option is to do the Tour du Mont Fort, a big scenic tour with some easier single trails around the 4 valleys, with a visit to the highest point of Verbier at 3,300 m. And then, a 2,000-meter descent follows! Finally, when we get back to the chalet, we’ll do a yoga session and then treat ourselves to a homemade pizza from our pizza oven.

    • For this MTB & yoga adventure in Verbier, good fitness is required. While you’ll be using lifts to cover a lot of the climbing, there’s still some climbing to do on your own to reach the best trails.

The itinerary can be adapted to the ability of the group so that everyone feels safe and comfortable riding at their own level. Having said that, the Alps are still challenging terrain and some experience mountain biking is required. Expect technically demanding terrain requiring intermediate to advanced bike-handling skills. You also have to be able to ride for 5 full days in a row.

As for yoga, no experience is required.

    • In order to join this Verbier MTB adventure, you should have intermediate to advanced MTB skills.

    • Here’s a list of the equipment you need to bring:

        • Comfortable riding or athletic clothing, preferably moisture wicking or synthetic material
        • Duffel bag or suitcase for all of your items
        • Mountain bike (rental available for an additional fee)
        • Daypack large enough to carry all the items you might need during one day
        • Sneakers or sport shoes
        • Breathable outside layer or jacket
        • Sunglasses
        • Water bottle or hydration bladder
        • Leisure clothing for your free time
        • Biking gloves — optional but recommended
        • Regular mountain bike helmet
        • Flexible knee and elbow pads — optional
        • Toiletries (sunscreen, hand sanitizer, bug spray, toilet paper, etc.)

Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season. Layers are best and don’t wear jeans.

    • If you’re coming to MTB in Verbier, your bike will need to be in top condition. A full suspension bike with 130 / 150 mm travel is required as well as gears suitable for steeps. It’s best to have the lightest gear you can find. On 2×11 set ups go for a 22 or 24 in front and a 42 on the rear cassette. When riding 1×11 or 1×12, a 28 or 30 set up in front (standard will be a 32 or 34 in front on most set ups) is recommended. You’ll definitely need those. When in doubt—the lighter, the better.

For tires, it’s recommended that you have a wider tire of a minimum of 2.3 with an all-round thread. Lightweight and narrow XC tires are not suitable. A dropper seat post is highly recommended or an easy way to lower your seat manually.

If you’d like to skip the hassle of bringing your own bike, you can rent one with your guides upon booking—and they’ll set you up with a standard bike (specialized StumpjumperAlloy), an e-bike (specialized Turbo Levo, Scott Patron 920), or a premium bike (Stumpjumper EVO carbon, Scott Genius ST 910, Orbea Occam SL M30, Santa Cruz).
