Having reached the summit, the descent to San Bartolomé de Tirajana beckons a transition from 1,700 meters (5,577 feet) down to 900 meters (2,953 feet). The final challenge presents itself—the culmination of the journey’s uphill climbs. Upon reaching the summit, a gradual and extended descent guides you toward Ayagaures. The rugged path includes tight hairpin bends, overgrown trails, and the descent of 800 meters (2,625 feet) until the expansive Ayagaures reservoir comes into view. Here, a restaurant provides sustenance for your senses. Your accommodation at Ayagaures or Maspalomas will serve as your base, offering rest and relaxation after a full day of hiking.

The final leg of your journey unfolds as you descend mainly downhill toward Maspalomas. The route grants you a scenic perspective of the expansive Palmitos Park.
