During your trip you can share a room with another hiker or reserve a single room for an additional fee. If you’re booking the trip for more than one participant, please choose a room type for each member of your group individually.
What you get on this adventure:
What’s not included:
To fully participate you should be able to walk for up to 5 hours a day. Most days you’ll have a choice of mileage options, so you can decide how active you want to be—it’s always up to you. Keep in mind, the weather in summer can be very hot.
Be prepared to walk! These towns are pedestrian-friendly only. Not only are there virtually no options for assisted transportation, but the towns themselves are hilly, so it’s common to encounter stairs—sometimes very long ones. It is suggested that you undertake regular exercise two to three times a week for three months prior to your departure.
Here’s a list of the equipment you need to bring:
Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season. Layers are best and don’t wear jeans. You will stay in the same village for the whole week, so you only need to carry a daypack with you for the walks.
Group sizes and prices:
Hiking in Cinque Terre can be arranged for larger groups. Contact us to make arrangements.
Min. age requirements:
If your group has hikers under the age of 18, contact us prior to booking to make arrangements.
Secure one of the dates for this year with a 30% deposit. The remaining amount is paid 3 months (90 days) prior to departure. Once the trip is confirmed by the guide, the cancellation policy stated below applies.
Secure your spot for next year with a 10% deposit! This tour gets sold out very quickly, but with early-bird booking, you will be the first one to know about any new upcoming dates. Pick your preferred dates without risk of your bucket list adventure selling out!
In case of cancellation on your part, the cancellation fee will be kept by your guiding service in the following manner:
Keep in mind that:
In case of cancellation by the guide due to the minimum number of participants not being reached, or as a result of conditions questioning the safety of the participants, or for a case of absolute necessity at least 21 days before the departure, you will be proposed, in the majority of the cases at least, a formula for replacement. If this formula is not convenient for you, you will be entirely refunded.
To get to Riomaggiore, most people fly into Pisa International Airport. From there, you can rent a car or take a train or shuttle to Riomaggiore which is just over an hour away.
Once you and your guide agree on the details of your itinerary, your guide will suggest the best place to meet, whether that’s at the guide shop or a predetermined location. The guide will choose the appropriate terrain dependent on conditions and the ability of the group.
57hours is committed to providing safe outdoor adventure experiences. We require all guides using our platform to have a COVID-19 safety plan and to make the details of that plan accessible to travelers. In most cases, group sizes will be reduced, guides will avoid overcrowded locations, and other safety measures will be met depending on the location and activity.
We also expect clients to respect local regulations and take measures to protect themselves, their guides, and the communities they’re traveling to. For more information on COVID-19 measures in Cinque Terre and Tuscany, Italy, please refer to Italy’s Ministry of Health Website and the Italian National Tourist Board Website.
Please contact us if you have any questions or require further information. We are happy to provide you with the most up-to-date information!
