Perfect for seasoned climbers, the camp is hosted by expert guides, who will help you out no matter what aspect you’d like to work on. Whether it’s upgrading your lead climbing ability or just top-roping super fun routes, guides are here to help you out and advance at your own pace on one of the park’s supreme limestone routes. With hundreds of them to choose from, you’ll have no issue finding the ideal ones for you, where you can improve as a climber.

    • All three days of this climbing camp are full climbing days, so make sure to organize your travel arrangements accordingly—it’s best to be well-rested and ready for Day 1. Meet with your guide and your group, and let the climbing begin. You’ll find hundreds of routes on limestone walls, where you’ll be able to hone your skills over the next few days.

    • Due to a low client-to-guide ratio, you’ll get plenty of attention. Expert guides will work with you to improve technique, gain confidence while climbing on limestone, and work with you to become a better climber. While some might want to work on their lead climbing ability others might prefer to top-rope some fun routes and push themselves while on the wall. Whatever it is, you’ll have a super experienced guide by your side, making sure you’re having fun and improving!

    • In order to join this climbing trip in Rifle Mountain Park, you need to be fit enough for three full days of rock climbing. This adventure is also not suitable for beginners—you need to have some prior experience, check out more details below.

      You also have to be proficient at top-rope belaying and comfortable top-roping 5.10 in the climbing gym. Keep in mind that Rifle Mountain Park mostly features routes starting from the 5.12 range, perfect for intermediates and experts.

    • This climbing camp is not for newcomers to the world of rock climbing.

    • All technical climbing equipment will be provided by your guiding service. However, if you have your own gear, feel free to bring it. You’ll need:

        • Helmet
        • Harness with a locking carabiner, belay device, and chalk bag
        • Ropes
        • Rock shoes (included in the price, but we recommend bringing your own if you have them)
        • Climbing hardware (quickdraws, cam devices, stoppers, etc.)

      Here’s a list of the equipment we suggest you bring:

        • Day pack large enough to carry all the items listed (around a 40L bag)
        • Water bottle
        • Food you can eat on-the-go
        • Toiletries (sunscreen, bug spray, toilet paper, etc.)
        • Sunglasses
        • Camera — optional

      Keep in mind that accommodation isn’t included in this tour. It’s up to you to make arrangements and see whether you’d like to camp out in the Rifle Mountain Park or you’d like to stay at one of the hotels near the park. If you need help organizing accommodation, feel free to contact us.

      Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season. Layers are best and don’t wear jeans.

    • Group sizes and prices:

      • It’s possible to choose between a group and a private climbing camp.
      • The cost does not decrease as the group grows.

    • To get to Rifle Mountain Park, most people fly into Denver International Airport (DEN). From there, you can rent a car and drive to Rifle Mountain Park or take a shuttle service to Rifle city.

      Once you and your guide agree on the details of your itinerary, your guide will suggest the best place to meet.
