On the first day, we’ll meet the guide at 7:30am in the foyer of the NH Collection Hotel, Porto, and then transfer to Arcos. We’ll walk through gentle hills, forests, and rural landscapes with cornfields and vineyards, then pass through small villages before crossing the medieval stone bridge into Barcelos. We’ll explore the historic town known for its artistic heritage and the legend of the Barcelos rooster. Overnight stay is at Art’Otel Barcelos, centrally located with shops and cafes nearby. Dinner is at a local restaurant featuring traditional Portuguese cuisine.
