On Day 2, we’ll start biking and leave the town of Nazaré behind. We’ll head through pine forests and farmland to the town of Coz, where we can sample the local sweets and explore the old Coz monastery. Then it’s on to Porto de Mós, a beautiful medieval Portuguese village at the entrance to the Serra de Aire e Candeeiros Nature Reserve.

Once inside the Serra de Aire e Candeeiros Nature Reserve, we’ll head towards the well-known Fórnea natural amphitheatre, one of the reserve’s most protected sites. We’ll continue up the mountain towards the typical village of Pia do Urso, where we can sample all kinds of local products, from honey to olive oil. Later on, we’ll arrive at the holy city of Fátima.

On the last day of this tour, we’ll explore the city of Fátima. Afterwards, it’s time to say our goodbyes and depart back home.

This bike holiday in Portugal is rated moderate, meaning that anyone with a relatively good fitness level can join in. You’ll ride on e-bikes for two consecutive days, covering 22-30 km (13.7-18.6 miles). We’ll be riding Cannondale Moterra e-mountain bikes, and we’ll also have a support van with luggage transfer, which means that the biking will sometimes be slightly challenging, but nothing too arduous.

The starting point of your Nazaré to Fatima bike holiday is Nazaré. To get there, most people fly into Lisbon Airport (LIS). From there, you can take public transport or rent a car to reach Nazaré.
Once you’re there, you will meet your guide at a predetermined time in a predetermined location. Your guide will provide more information before the trip starts.
