  • The Italian island of Sardinia offers wonderful cycling opportunities—the roads are quiet and mostly without traffic, while the countryside is tranquil and spectacular. As if the spectacular views we’ll be seeing aren’t enough for a perfect holiday, we’ll also be rewarded with out-of-this-world food during our whole, week-long trip. We’ll have cooking classes and go wine and olive oil tasting. Nights will be spent in fabulous accommodation, a wonderful eclectic mix of hotels and villas, all of which provide peace and comfort. Our guide really thought of everything—almost all meals are included as well as necessary transfers—giving us a totally relaxed, worry-free holiday.

    • The Sardinian town of Alghero is a lively and charming city, a flourishing tourist destination that attracts not only summer visitors and elite travelers but also a growing cosmopolitan crowd. Its unique character stems from its Catalan heritage—having once been dominated by the Catalans, some locals still speak the Catalan language today. The Mura Catalane (Catalan Walls) still encircle the old town center along the seafront, adding to its historic appeal. As we stroll through the old town, we can admire its many towers, explore local shops and businesses, and enjoy a drink at sunset in one of its delightful cafés or bars. Dinner is included at our hotel or a local restaurant.

      Accommodation: Villa Mosca
      Meals: Breakfast, dinner

Capo Caccia is a place where time has sculpted towering cliffs that plunge dramatically into the sea, revealing caves, underwater grottoes, rare marine life such as coral, and vibrant shoals of fish—creating one of the most spectacular landscapes in northwestern Sardinia. Later, we prepare for our first cooking lesson at Fattoria dei Piani, where we learn how to make traditional Sardinian pasta. After the lesson, dinner is included.

From Bosa, we continue cycling through the peaceful rural landscape of Planargia, passing well-kept vineyards and fruit orchards before reaching the quaint village of Tresnuraghes. Bosa is a fascinating place where history and modernity blend harmoniously, sparking both curiosity and admiration. The old village, nestled around Serravalle Castle, is easily explored on foot and rewards us with breathtaking views that will remain etched in our memory.
