  • Experience a 3-day Corcovado National Park tour that brings you deep into one of the world’s most biodiverse regions! Over three days, we’ll hike lush trails, spot wildlife like monkeys, sloths, and scarlet macaws, and explore the rainforest with a knowledgeable local guide. We’ll enjoy delicious meals, relax at Sirena Biological Station, and fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle, knowing every detail—from boat rides to park entry—is taken care of.

    • The day begins with a 5:30am boat ride to Sirena, often accompanied by dolphins, whales, or sea turtles gliding alongside. After stepping barefoot onto the beach to keep your shoes dry, a short 2-km (1.2-mi) hike brings us to the Sirena Ranger Station, where we’ll register and prepare for the day ahead. From there, we’ll spend the day exploring Corcovado’s diverse network of trails—perhaps the 2-km (1.2-mi) Los Espaveles trail with its dense vegetation, the 3-km (1.9-mi) Ollas trail beloved by birdwatchers, or the 1-km (0.6 mi) Sirena trail along the river mouth where marine life is often spotted. Lunch is served at the station, with more time in the afternoon for additional hikes before winding down at the beach or resting back at the station. Dinner is served at 5:30pm, and at 8pm all lights are turned off—so be sure to have a flashlight, headlamp, or phone by your bed.

      Meals: Lunch and dinner
      Hiking: Multiple options
      Accommodation: Rustic lodging in Sirena

      Aerial panorama of Corcovado
    • The day begins with a dawn hike around the station from 5 to 7am, the best time to spot wildlife as the forest comes alive. After breakfast at the station, the morning continues with longer walks in Corcovado National Park, such as the 2-km (1.2-mi) Guanacaste trail with its towering trees and views of the Sirena River, or sections of the coastal path toward La Leona and the primary forest trail toward Los Patos. Routes are chosen based on the group’s interests, allowing for a variety of experiences. After lunch at the station, the afternoon offers time to relax or roam along the wild Sirena beach before gathering for dinner. At 8pm, all lights are off at the station.

      Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

    • The final day begins with a morning hike around the station from 5 to 6:30am, followed by breakfast. The rest of the morning is dedicated to your last explorations in Corcovado, with several trail options to choose from: the short 1-kilometer (0.6-mi) Corcovado trail through tall trees and primary forest, the 3.5-km (2.2-mi) Río Claro trail winding through primary and secondary forest, the 3-km (1.9-mi) Los Naranjos trail with its historical points of interest, or the 5-km (3.1-mi) Río Pavo trail, a favorite for plant enthusiasts. If preferred, there’s also the chance to revisit one or two of your favorite routes from previous days. A snack at the station is served mid-morning before a final hike toward the beach. From there, a boat ride between 12:30 and 2pm takes you back to Puerto Jiménez.
