  • Embark on an epic 2-day heli-accessed mountain biking adventure in BC’s Coast Mountains. Experience the thrill of riding the world’s longest granite slabs, complemented by a sauna, gourmet meals, and stunning mountain vistas. Begin with a scenic flight from Squamish to our luxurious base camp at 5,900 feet. Designed for those seeking to hone their rock slab skills, each day of this tour involves exhilarating terrain, including technical descents and breathtaking ridge views. Enjoy expert guidance, delicious meals by a professional chef, and a night in premium domes. It’s the ultimate blend of adrenaline, natural beauty, and comfort in a remote wilderness setting.

    • We meet our pilot and trip manager at the heli-pad in Whistler, Sechelt, Campbell River, or Powell River for the flight up to base camp, where the guide team and chef are waiting. After a safety debrief, a short hike-a-bike climbs to the summit above camp for sweeping views, then a heart-pounding descent drops us to the alpine tarn beside camp. From there, a ridge to the west opens onto a traverse or loop, chosen by ability: a 5km run south toward Lockie’s Table with views over Powell Lake and the Georgia Strait, or a longer slab descent reached via a higher ridgeline traverse and a second hike-a-bike. We finish with a dip in glacial water, a sauna, and a three-course fireside meal under the stars.

      Meals: Dinner
Accommodation: Premium alpine domes with cozy cots and stoves

MTBer near a small lake in BC’s Coast Mountains.
    • After an early breakfast and packed lunches, we climb via a long traverse to a shelf high above camp before dropping into one of the longest known rock slab descents in the world. The line runs off either a final summit or a quicker, steeper exit into a bowl of granite shelves, then flows down endless sheets of granite, with narrow ledges linking each open slab before we reach the treeline and our lower heli pickup point. From here, riders can fly back to Whistler, Sechelt, Comox Valley, or Powell River, or continue on to an optional day at Coast Gravity Park, with lodging along the lower Sunshine Coast. Those staying at camp instead follow a long, feature-packed descent to the lowest tarn for a lunch break, then climb back up for an afternoon exploring more of the ridge’s lines before returning to camp.

      Meals: Breakfast, packed lunch
Accommodation: Included only if you select the extra day at Coast Gravity Park, otherwise not

Slab riding in the Coast Mountains.
    • For those extending the trip, we head to Coast Gravity Park on the Sunshine Coast, a shuttle-accessed bike park built by local riders with trails ranging from flowy berms to big jumps. A truck tows us and our bikes up for lap after lap, so we can dial in as much or as little air time as we like across the park’s mix of terrain. It’s a lower-key, low-elevation counterpoint to the alpine descents of the previous two days, with a relaxed, community vibe rather than resort crowds. We spend the day riding at our own pace before heading to comfortable lodging nearby, complete with a spa, sauna, and excellent seafood. The following morning, we make our way back to Whistler via ferry through Horseshoe Bay, or return toward Powell River or Vancouver Island.
