Deposits

When booking a trip, you can either pay for it in full or reserve your spot with a 30% deposit. The remaining 70% of the trip price is to be paid 90 days prior to departure, at the latest.

Cancellations

After 48 hours, booking fees are non-refundable in all cases. You can choose one of 57hours’ flexibility options:

  • If canceled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
  • If canceled 60 or more days before departure, a 70% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled within 59 days of departure, no refund will be issued.
  • Booking fees are non-refundable after a 48-hour grace period.
Flexible
  • If canceled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
  • If canceled 60 or more days before departure, a full refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled 30-59 days before departure, a 50% refund of the total trip price will be issued.

    • Today, we’ll explore Iceland’s breathtaking South Coast, starting with the stunning waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. Feel the mist as you walk behind Seljalandsfoss and take in the panoramic views from Skógafoss. The adventure continues with an exhilarating glacier hike on Sólheimajökull Glacier, where we’ll be equipped with crampons and ice axes to traverse the ancient ice formations. The day concludes with a visit to Reynisfjara Black Sand beach, famous for its striking basalt columns and roaring waves. We’ll stay overnight in a cozy countryside hotel.

      In the afternoon, we’ll paddle through calm, icy waters surrounded by towering ice formations, with Vatnajökull glacier as a dramatic backdrop. The afternoon brings an exciting dog sledding tour, gliding through snowy landscapes with energetic huskies. The day ends with a cozy stay in Akureyri.

      You should be able to hike for at least 2-3 hours a day in varied terrain and with some elevation gain. If you don’t think you’re ready to do so, it’s recommended to do some light cardio training, ideally hiking, 1-3 times a week in advance of the trip.

      Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season. Layers are best and don’t wear jeans.

    • Group sizes and pricing

        • For this private luxury Iceland ring road tour, the usual client-to-guide ratio is up to 19:1.
        • The maximum group size is set at 19 participants. There is no minimum group size, and solo travelers are welcome to book this private trip.
        • The cost per person decreases as the group grows, so it’s the perfect opportunity to hike with friends and family!

      Min. age requirements

      There is no age minimum for private adventures. If you’d love to bring your young ones along, contact us before booking to make arrangements!

    • The starting point of your Iceland South Coast luxury tour is Keflavik International Airport (KEF).

      Once you’re there, you will meet your guide, and you’ll be transferred to the starting point of the adventure. Alternatively, the guide can pick you up at your hotel. The guide will provide more information before the adventure begins.
