  • Two mountain towns anchor this 8-day walking holiday through Romania's Southern Carpathians, keeping trail access easy without the hassle of packing every night. The first three nights unfold in medieval Brașov, positioned for the northern hikes through Piatra Craiului's limestone walls and the Seven Ladders Canyon. A cultural stop at Bran and Peleș Castles bridges the transition south to Sinaia, our base for the final four nights and the high alpine trails of Bucegi. Along the way, expect mountain cabin lunches, river gorges, and a finish among the wind-sculpted rock formations of the Bucegi plateau.

    • Upon arrival, we land in the medieval heart of Transylvania and check into our hotel in Brașov. After settling in and shaking off the travel, we’re welcome to join the group for an optional dinner (at your own expense) to meet fellow hikers before heading into the mountains the next morning.
