  • Snow-carpeted peaks, frosty fir trees, and crisp Alpine air is the perfect setting for a 3-day getaway into the great outdoors. Join an expert guide, who knows the Alps by heart, and let them take you on a snowshoeing tour along the foothills of the mighty Mont Blanc massif. One night is spent at the legendary Bonatti Hut, the other at the 4-star Mountain Resort QC Termemontebianco. You don’t have to worry about the food, your guide will make sure you get the best Italian Alpine meals—your only job is to admire spectacular views and explore the wonderful Alps.

    • Our journey begins as we leave civilization behind and head toward the Bonatti Refuge, where we’ll spend the night. Starting at the Val Ferret cross-country ski track, we make a steady 439-meter ascent to reach the refuge at 2,026 meters. Before setting off, we’ll go through a detailed avalanche safety briefing—covering the transceiver, probe, and shovel—so you’ll feel confident and prepared for the backcountry adventure ahead.

The route follows a gentle path along a semi-frozen river, surrounded by majestic peaks like the Grandes Jorasses. The first stretch is easygoing, but as we reach the forest, the climb becomes more sustained. Above 2,000 meters, the trees clear and breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and the Aosta Valley’s towering peaks open up. Once at the Bonatti Hut, it’s time to relax with a well-earned glass of mulled wine or cold beer before enjoying a hearty dinner made from fresh, local ingredients in the cozy mountain refuge.

      Meals: Picnic lunch and dinner
      Accommodation: Bonatti Hut

      Happy hikers snowshoeing
    • After breakfast at the hut, we set off on a beautiful route that climbs steadily to a stunning mountain col. Up here, surrounded by the quiet of the high alpine landscape, everyday life feels far away. With some luck, we might spot chamois on the slopes—but even without wildlife, the sweeping views make the effort more than worthwhile.

After soaking in the scenery, we’ll descend the same way or take an alternate scenic route, depending on conditions and group preference. From there, it’s back to comfort—a 4-star hotel and the soothing thermal baths of QC Terme Monte Bianco in Pré Saint Didier await to help you relax and recharge.

Meals: Breakfast, picnic lunch, and dinner
Accommodation: 4-star Mountain Resort QC Terme Monte Bianco in Pré-Saint-Didier

Hiker in winter near Mont Blanc
    • On our final day, we’ll slow things down and enjoy a relaxed morning. After breakfast, we head out for an easy walk across a wide plateau—perfect for stretching the legs and breathing in the crisp mountain air.

The trail gently climbs through quiet forest paths until we reach a peaceful mountain stream, where we’ll pause for a scenic picnic, soaking in the beauty and calm. After this restful break, we’ll make our way back, ready to say goodbye—refreshed, recharged, and full of great memories.

      Meals: Breakfast and picnic lunch
