  • Snow-carpeted peaks, frosty fir trees, and crisp Alpine air is the perfect setting for a 3-day getaway into the great outdoors. Join an expert guide, who knows the Alps by heart, and let them take you on a snowshoeing tour along the foothills of the mighty Mont Blanc massif. One night is spent at the legendary Bonatti Hut, the other at the 4* Mountain Resort QC Termemontebianco. You don’t have to worry about the food, your guide will make sure you get the best Italian Alpine meals—your only job is to admire spectacular views and explore the wonderful Alps.

    • Make your way to the charming hamlet of Entrèves at the foot of Mont Blanc, just a couple of miles away from Courmayeur. Meet your guide and your team and start the hike to the comfortable Bonatti Hut, one of the nicest ones in the Alps. Ease into snowshoeing with a nice and gentle warm-up—follow a semi-frozen river surrounded by majestic peaks such as the Grandes Jorasses. Only when you reach the forest does the ascent get more sustained. Leave the forest behind you (at 2,000 m) and enjoy views over the Mont Blanc and other impressive peaks of the Aosta Valley. Once in the hut, have delicious mulled wine or cold beer. Dinner is cooked with locally sourced ingredients.

      Meals: Lunch and dinner
      Accommodation: Bonatti Hut

      Happy hikers snowshoeing
    • If weather serves you, you can opt for a detour and ascend the Col d’Entre-Deux-Sauts mountain pass. The other option is heading straight back to civilization and getting the most out of your stay in your luxe accommodation for the night: a 4-star hotel with a wellness center on the slopes of Mont Blanc. Pamper yourself after a day out in the snow and perhaps treat yourself to a massage or an Aperol Spritz.

Along the way you will get to appreciate beautiful views of the valley and likely meet some wild animals. After lunch in superb winter ambiance, it’s time to say goodbye to this short and sweet trip. Say your farewells with the guide and your team and head to the airport. If you’d like to stay longer in the area, just ask your guide for some recommendations!

        • It takes a minimum of 4 people for this tour to operate. The cost does not decrease as the group grows.
        • If you can’t make the set dates, let us know and bring at least 3 snowshoeing buddies—private trips can be arranged. Please note that the price will be higher in February or during the weekends.

Snowshoeing in Mont Blanc can also be arranged for larger groups. Contact us to make arrangements.

    • Your Mont Blanc snowshoeing tour starts in the little town of Entrèves close to Courmayeur. To get there, most people fly into Geneva Airport (GVA). From there, you can take a bus or rent a car to Entrèves. Once you and your guide agree on the details of your itinerary, your guide will suggest the best place to meet.

    • We highly recommend that you cover all your bases with both emergency medical and travel insurance. With medical insurance, if you have an accident or medical emergency on or off the mountain, you’ll avoid paying out of pocket for costly expenses. This covers everything from hospital treatments to emergency air transportation and more.

Travel insurance covers canceled flights, natural disasters and other scenarios that may interrupt your travel plans.

We also expect you to respect local regulations and take measures to protect yourselves, your guides, and the communities you’re traveling to.

If you need assistance selecting the right insurance for your group, let us know and we will be happy to help!
