Meet your guides at the Kulusuk Airport in Greenland and get transferred to the harbor. Get settled on the Byr, the 82-ft (25 m) ketch-rigged expedition charter boat you’ll be using as a home base for the week. meet the crew and bond with them over your first dinner aboard.

Spend the next 8 days sailing, hiking, and kayaking along the Sermilik & Angmagssalik fjords in East Greenland. There are no fixed sailing routes or itineraries on this trip—the weather conditions, the swell & the guides and the crew’s expertise will set the course of the boat every evening. start sailing toward Angmagssalik, spend a few days hiking, and reach the massive Sermilik fjord through the Ikaasatsivaq fjord.
Each morning you’ll wake up, enjoy a filling breakfast, and head to shore on your RIB boat for the day’s activities, which will either be hiking or kayaking. Then, once you’ve had your fill of adventure, your captain will take you to their choice of safe anchorage for the night, which will usually be close to some Inuit settlements or in the wild fjords. The evening of day 9 will most likely be spent near or in Kulusuk harbor.
Back to Kusuluk! you’ll have some free time to explore the town, sightsee, and reflect on your adventure before catching your flight back home.

This multisport adventure in Greenland is physically demanding and it requires very good fitness levels. You will be hiking or kayaking for 10 full days. On hiking days, expect to cover 12-25 km (7,5-15,5 miles) a day of uneven and treeless terrain, with steep mountainous sections and challenging ice cap approaches. Also, depending on the weather conditions, some days will include full-day kayaking as the main activity. Keep in mind that Greenland gets very cold so you’ll be wearing multiple layers of clothing, and you’ll be hiking with a daypack filled with all the things you’ll need throughout the day.
Your guide will provide a more detailed equipment list upon booking. Here’s a list of the equipment you need to bring:
Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season. Layers are best and don’t wear jeans.

Min. age requirements:
A 30% deposit to secure your place is due upon booking. Once the trip is confirmed by the guide, the cancellation policy stated below applies, and deposits are no longer refundable. The remaining 70% of the amount is paid the latest 3 months (90 days) prior to departure.
In the event that the minimum number of people to confirm the trip is not reached, AMAROK ADVENTURES can cancel the departure at most 2 months before the start of the trip. Please note the trips for 2022 are expected to reach the minimum number of people soon, and the likelihood of the trip not happening is very low.

To get to Kulusuk, Greenland, the starting point of this tour, most people fly into Keflavik International Airport (KEF) in Iceland. Then, you can take a car, bus, or shuttle to Reykjavik Airport (RKV) in the center of Reykjavik. From there, take a direct flight to Kulusuk Airport in Kulusuk, southeast Greenland.
Alternatively, you can start from Copenhagen Airport, fly into Nuuk Airport, and take a final direct flight to Kulusuk.
You will meet your guide at the airport at a pre-arranged time. They will then transfer you to the Kusuluk harbor and get you accommodated on the sailboat.
