  • Find leisure and adventure in the tropical paradise of Puerto Rico on this lavish 4-day New Year's retreat! Connect with like-minded outdoor enthusiasts as you enjoy a wide range of exquisite activities—warm up with some morning yoga before hitting the crags or the waves, relax the muscles with a Thai massage, and spend your evenings exploring Puerto Rico’s fantastic beaches, bars, and restaurants!

    • We arrive at the retreat house by mid-afternoon and settle in before a group meet and greet. Late afternoon brings a Thai massage class on the lower deck, a relaxed way to loosen up before the days of climbing ahead. Free time follows, and the day wraps up with a welcome dinner together to close out our first evening on the island.

      Meals: Welcome dinner
      Accommodation: Retreat house

      Arrival Puerto Rico
    • Mornings start with yoga before we head out toward Bayamón, one of Puerto Rico’s most established climbing areas, known for its limestone walls, caves, and narrow rock passages. We climb from late morning into the afternoon, packing our own lunch to fuel the day on the rock. In the evening, we make our way to dinner in Old San Juan or Bayamón, depending on the group’s energy.

      Accommodation: Retreat house

      Climbing in Puerto Rico
    • Another yoga session opens the day before we set off for Caliche, a limestone crag tucked into a lush valley carved by the Río Grande de Manatí and one of the island’s original climbing areas. We climb through the morning and into the afternoon, again packing our own lunch for the day. Dinner together closes things out, location still coming together.

      Accommodation: Retreat house

      Climbing rocks in Puerto Rico
    • We start with a final yoga session, then pack up and check out of the retreat house before heading to the coast for a morning of surfing. Midday, we trade boards for the slackline on the beach for a laid-back workshop, then wrap up the retreat with a debrief and closing circle by the water before saying our goodbyes.

    • If you can climb a ladder, you’re good to go. Being in good shape is always a plus but far from necessary. Rock climbing is all about using good movement technique rather than muscling up a cliff using brute strength.

The waves in Puerto Rico are ideal for first-time surfers. A surf instructor will teach you how to be safe, have fun and work toward standing up on your board. It’s all worth a bit of practice, we promise!

To ensure you have a fun retreat, your guide will choose routes and locations that best suit your skill and fitness level.

    • Puerto Rico has plenty of options for beginner climbers. Whether you’ve never climbed before or are transitioning from the gym to outdoor climbing, your guide will customize the day to suit your skill level and objectives. With a guide by your side, you’ll learn something new, stay safe on the rocks, and most importantly, have fun!

For intermediate to advanced climbers, Puerto Rico has loads of routes to spend the day on. Your guide will discuss your objectives and customize the day to your goals. Let your guide plan the day so you can focus on developing your skills while climbing the classic routes or best hidden gems the area has to offer.
