Cat Skiing Adventure in Goderdzi, Georgia

*The hotel allows you to take a packed lunch from the breakfast buffet, which you will do on days when you decide to stay out all day. Otherwise, you can return and have lunch in the restaurant (paid separately) and then go out for an afternoon ski session. Dinners are not included in the price as there are a couple of restaurants to choose from and groups always have different preferences about what they’d like to eat. Your guides are there to give recommendations.

This cat skiing adventure is meant for skiers with previous experience skiing or snowboarding off-piste in powder. As this is a cat-skiing trip, it does not require any hiking or intense skinning. Your fitness levels need to be high enough to ski ungroomed snow for 5 hours per day (with breaks) for 5 consecutive days.

For private trips, your guides can adapt the itinerary to any fitness level.

If you want to rent your skis, boots, poles, avalanche beacon, shovel or probe, your guides can assist you. However, they do not have their own rental shop, and they would like to warn you that the rental equipment in Georgia is often sub-par. It is recommended that you bring your own gear or rent it at home (Turkish Airlines includes a ski bag for free, and your guides will take care of all transportation from the airport).

Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season and temperatures.

Group sizes and pricing

• • For these tours, the usual client-to-guide ratio is 4:1, with a maximum number of 8 participants per tour.
  • For standard tours, a minimum of 4 participants is required for the tour to run.
  • For private tours, there is no minimal number of participants – you can even go solo if you want!
  • For private tours, the cost per person decreases as the group grows, so it’s the perfect opportunity to ski with friends and family!

Min. age requirements

• • If you are older than 18, you’re good to go.
  • Minors younger than 18 cannot participate in this adventure.

To get to Goderdzi, Georgia, you can fly into Tbilisi Airport (6,5 hours away), Kutaisi Airport (6,5 hours away), or Batumi Airport (4 hours away).

You will meet your driver at the airport of your choice at a pre-arranged time, and they will take you to Goderdzi to start your tour.
