  • Come to Moab for a 4-5 hour singletrack ride you’ll never forget! Discover why riders from around the world keep praising North Klondike’s trails as some of the best and most fun in Moab! Let a local and experienced guide show you around North Klondike’s towering rock outcroppings and buffed mesas and enjoy some great views along the way.

PREREQUISITES: You should be comfortable riding up steps and off drops that are knee-high. This tour is for riders with very good fitness who mountain bike up to twice a week. This trail is not recommended to riders who do not mountain bike on a regular basis.

    • 57hours is committed to providing safe outdoor adventure experiences. We require all guides using our platform to have a COVID-19 safety plan and to make the details of that plan accessible to travelers. In most cases, group sizes will be reduced, guides will avoid overcrowded locations, and other safety measures will be met depending on the location and activity.

We also expect clients to respect local regulations and take measures to protect themselves, their guides, and the communities they’re traveling to. For more information on COVID-19 measures in North Klondike, Utah, please refer to the official Utah COVID-19 update website.

Please contact us if you have any questions or require further information. We are happy to provide you with the most up-to-date information!

    • What you get on this adventure:

        • An experienced MTB guide with extensive local knowledge of the area
        • Half or full-day of mountain biking depending on your chosen itinerary
        • Helmet and hydration pack
        • Transportation to the trailhead

      What’s not included:

        • Bike rentals — you can rent a bike for an extra fee of $25
        • Bike insurance ($15) — optional
        • Transportation to Moab
        • Accommodations
        • Food and snacks

If you have your own bike, feel free to bring it with you. If not, you can rent an aluminum frame bike for $25 or upgrade it to a Tier 2 carbon frame bike for $40.

    • These tours are suitable for riders with good to excellent fitness levels. You will need to be able to bike between four and eight hours, depending on the itinerary you choose. After booking, your guide will determine the group’s skill level and capabilities and cater the day to your specific abilities. Keep in mind, opting for the full-day option means more biking, which is strenuous even if you stay on easier trails.

    • Previous mountain bike experience is recommended. Trail surfaces may include uneven terrain and narrow trails, singletrack, with occasional obstacles (roots, rocks, sand). Hills and descents are moderate to strenuous and require some skill. Riders with minimal mountain bike experience but who have road biking skills or a strong fitness level, along with an adventurous spirit, should be suitable for these tours.

    • Here’s what you’ll need:

        • Wear comfortable riding or athletic clothing, preferably moisture-wicking or synthetic material
        • Sneakers or sport shoes
        • Breathable outside layer or jacket
        • Sunglasses
        • Plenty of water, water bottle, or hydration bladder
        • Daypack with snacks
        • Biking gloves are optional but recommended
        • Bike repair kit
        • Toiletries (sunscreen, hand sanitizer, bug spray, toilet paper, etc.)

Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season. Layers are best and don’t wear jeans.

    • Group sizes and prices:

        • The group size for these tours is usually between 1-6 people with one guide.
        • Costs per person decrease as the group grows, so it’s the perfect opportunity to climb with friends and family.
        • Standard tours require a minimum of 2 people to run. If you are a party of one, and if you are willing to pay the solo rate, your guide guarantees that your tour will run — even if you end up being the only person on it.

Mountain biking in Dead Horse Point can be arranged for bigger groups. Contact us prior to booking.

      Min. age requirements:

        • If you are older than 18, you’re good to go.
        • Children as young as 10 are able to go on trips with a legal guardian. That said, if you have a young rider strong enough to handle sustained climbs (either riding or walking their bike) of hundreds of feet, and rough terrain, then they may be able to participate on a case-by-case basis.

If your group has riders under the age of 18, contact us prior to booking to make arrangements.

    • To get to North Klondike, most people fly into Salt Lake City International Airport. From there, you can take a shuttle or rent a car for a 4,5-hour drive to Moab. You can also fly into Denver International Airport and take a direct local flight to Moab, or take a local flight to Grand Junction Colorado Airport and rent a car or take a shuttle for a 2-hour drive to Moab.

Once you and your guide agree on the details of your itinerary, your guide will suggest the best place to meet, whether that’s at the guide shop in Moab or a predetermined location.
