Deposits

When booking a trip, you can either pay for it in full or reserve your spot with a 30% deposit. The remaining 70% of the trip price is to be paid 90 days prior to departure, at the latest.

Cancellations

After 48 hours, booking fees are non-refundable in all cases. You can choose one of 57hours’ flexibility options:

Basic
  • If canceled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
  • If canceled 90 or more days before departure, a 70% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled within 89 days of departure, no refund will be issued.
  • Booking fees are non-refundable after a 48 hours grace period.
Flexible
  • If canceled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
  • If canceled 90 or more days before departure, a full refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled 60-89 days before departure, a 50% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled within 59 days of departure, no refund will be issued.
  • Booking fees are non-refundable after 48 hours grace period.
Super Flexible
  • If canceled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
  • If canceled 60 or more days before departure, a full refund of the total trip price will be issued.

  • This ski journey is a deep dive into the heart of the Western Alps, linking some of the region’s most celebrated resorts over five varied days on snow! Each day brings a new destination, new terrain, and a fresh mountain backdrop, from high-altitude glaciers to wide-open pistes and forest-lined runs. Designed to be flexible and welcoming, the program adapts to different skiing styles and conditions. With transfers, lift passes, and accommodation all arranged, the focus stays where it belongs—on skiing well, exploring more, and enjoying life in the Alps.

    • Arrive in Aosta and settle into our 4-star hotel in the heart of the city. The day is intentionally relaxed, giving us time to explore the historic center, rent any necessary ski equipment, or simply enjoy the comforts of the hotel. In the afternoon, we’ll all meet together for a welcome aperitivo. During this informal briefing, we review the week ahead, discuss weather and snow conditions, and agree on the departure time and plan for the following day.

    • Our ski marathon begins with an unforgettable day between Italy and Switzerland. We ski the expansive slopes linking Cervinia and Zermatt, surrounded by high-altitude terrain and panoramic views dominated by the Matterhorn. Wide pistes and seamless border crossings make this a truly iconic alpine experience.

    • Today we explore the vast Monte Rosa ski area, starting in Champoluc and skiing across to Gressoney and Alagna. This classic three-valley route offers long, flowing descents and continuous views of several 4,000-meter peaks, showcasing the scale and beauty of the Monte Rosa massif.

    • We spend the day skiing in Courmayeur, known for its traditional lifts and forest-lined slopes. The presence of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in the Alps, defines the scenery throughout the day. This area offers a distinctive alpine atmosphere, blending classic charm with impressive terrain.

    • Today we ski Pila, Aosta’s local resort, accessed directly from the city by lift. The slopes offer excellent views across the valley, with the Grand Combin massif always in sight. The combination of convenient access and scenic terrain makes this a relaxed and rewarding day.

    • Our final ski day takes us to La Thuile, where we ski across the border to La Rosière in France before returning. This international circuit features wide-open slopes and dramatic alpine views, providing a fitting finale to our Western Alps ski marathon.

    • On the final day, we take things at our own pace. Depending on departure plans, there may be time to continue exploring Aosta or simply enjoy a relaxed morning before saying goodbye and heading home.

    • The Italian ski resort marathon is open to skiers of varying abilities, with experienced guides offering route options for everyone—from beginners to those seeking longer, faster, and more challenging runs high in the mountains.

      Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season.

    • Yes, the Aosta area has plenty of ski rental options. Let us know at checkout if necessary, and your guides will make necessary arrangements.

    • Group sizes and pricing

        • For this Italy ski marathon, the usual client-to-guide ratio is 8:1. 
        • It takes a minimum of 4 people for this tour to operate. The maximum group size is set at 8 participants.

      Italy ski marathons can be arranged for larger groups. Contact us to make arrangements.

      Min. age requirements

        • If you are older than 18, you’re good to go.
        • Minors younger than 18 may be permitted to join the Italy ski marathon on a case-by-case basis, but must be in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.

      If your group has participants under the age of 18, contact us prior to booking to make arrangements.

    • The price for this Italy ski marathon is based on twin-share rooms, but a single occupancy room can be arranged at an additional fee. Let us know if interested.

    • The starting point of your Italy ski marathon is Aosta, Italy. To get there, most people fly into Turin Airport (TRN) or Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP). From there, you can take a shuttle service, public transport, or rent a car to reach Aosta—it will take you 1.2 to 2 hours.

      You will meet your guide on Day 1 at the hotel you’ll be staying at during the tour in Aosta.
