  • Step up your ice climbing game in New Hampshire's premier winter terrain! This customized day of climbing adapts to individual goals, whether it’s tackling multi-pitch ice routes, pushing your grades on single-pitch climbs, or mixing it up. Meeting at 8am, we'll gear up and drive 10-30 minutes to the day's best ice, chosen based on conditions and our objectives for the day. After a short approach hike (10-30 minutes), we'll spend the day climbing with an AMGA-certified ice instructor! We’ll wrap up around 3pm and be back in the car around 4pm. If you've caught the ice bug or you're a rock climber comfortable with multi-pitch terrain, come send it on some of the Northeast's most classic ice!

    • Included:

        • An experienced, AMGA-certified ice climbing instructor
        • A day course in ice climbing in New Hampshire (introductory or intermediate, depending on your chosen itinerary)
        • All technical gear: boots, crampons, ice axes, helmet, harness, ice clippers, and ropes

      Not included:

        • Airfare
        • Accommodations
        • Meals and snacks
        • Water
        • Guide gratuities — optional
        • Travel and medical insurance — optional
    • For the introduction to ice climbing in New Hampshire, no prior ice climbing is required. However, a moderate level of fitness will help you get the most out of your day. If you have the endurance for several hours of activity and can climb a ladder comfortably, you’ll be in good shape for this ice climbing course.

For intermediate ice climbing in New Hampshire, you’ll need a solid baseline of climbing. Previous experience on ice or multi-pitch rock routes is required. You should be able to climb continuously throughout the day while managing ropes and gear. If you’re comfortable leading trad or following WI3, you’re ready for this course.
