This Iceland heli touring adventure is suitable for intermediate off-piste skiers in good physical condition. Whilst your guides expect great corn, snow conditions can be variable in the mountains and you should be comfortable riding in a variety of conditions.

Previous ski touring experience is not required. As long as you are an intermediate skier with a good level of physical fitness (e.g. you hike, run or mountain bike regularly), your guides can teach you everything you need to know to enjoy the touring part of the trip.

Group sizes and pricing

• • For this Iceland heli touring adventure, the usual client-to-guide ratio is 4:1.
  • While only 4 guests can fit the Astar B2 helicopter (as well as a pilot and a guide), the maximum group size is set at 12 participants.
  • A private Iceland heli touring adventure can be arranged.

Min. age requirements

  • Minors younger than 18 may be permitted to join the Iceland heli touring adventure on a case-by-case basis, but must be in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.

If your group has skiers under the age of 18, contact us prior to booking to make arrangements.

The starting point of your Iceland heli touring adventure is the Sóti Lodge in the north of Iceland. Your guides realize that it may be logistically difficult to reach it—so a shuttle service from Keflavik Airport, Reykjavik, or Akureyri to the Sóti Lodge is included in the price of the trip!
