    • For this guided hiking trip in the Tatras, a reasonable fitness level is recommended. You’ll cover approximately 8.7 – 10.6 miles (14 – 17 km) each day, with an elevation gain of 1,640 – 2,297 feet (500 – 700 meters). Prior hiking experience is recommended, but it’s not essential if you engage in regular aerobic activities like running, swimming, and cycling. Basic cycling skills are required for the biking portions, although no technical challenges are involved.

      To prepare for the trip, maintain a suitable fitness by going on full-day hikes in hilly terrain or doing the above mentioned aerobic activities occasionally. Your experienced guide will always be by your side, providing continuous encouragement and assessing your abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or new to the trails, rest assured that their support ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

    • Here’s a list of the equipment you need to bring:

        • Day pack large enough to carry all the items you may need in a day (around a 25-35L bag)
        • Sturdy, waterproof winter hiking boots with ankle support
        • Lightweight, breathable hiking shirts

        • Mid layer, fleece, or sweater
        • Lightweight rain and windproof jacket
        • Backpack (around 25-35L) for carrying personal items

      Bring comfortable clothes appropriate for the season. Layers are best and avoid any hiking clothes made of cotton. The Tatras experience pleasant weather from June to October, characterized by mild temperatures, clear skies, and low precipitation. Summer months offer warmth and ideal hiking conditions, while autumn brings cooler temperatures. Nevertheless, occasional showers and strong winds can happen, so it is necessary to be prepared for changing weather conditions.

    • Your accommodation during your Tatras guided hiking tour is designed for both comfort and convenience. You’ll be staying in delightful local 3* (3 nights) and 4* hotels (4 nights), each equipped with beautiful wellness centers for your relaxation.

      Your cozy twin room, shared with a fellow traveler of the same gender, ensures a sense of camaraderie throughout your journey. For those seeking a bit more privacy, the option of a single room is available for an additional fee.

      This package also includes hearty breakfasts and delicious dinners, allowing you to savor local flavors every day.

    • Group sizes and prices:

        • For this group adventure, the usual client-to-guide ratio is 8:1.
        • It takes a minimum of 4 people for this tour to operate.
        • The cost does not decrease as the group grows.

      Min. age requirements:

        • If you are older than 18, you’re good to go.
        • Minors younger than 18 are not permitted to join the hike.
    • Your adventure starts by meeting your guide and fellow hikers at Krakow Airport, Poland, at 16:00 (4 pm) on Day 1. Be sure to arrange your travel to arrive before this time.

      Please note that city pickups and drop-offs aren’t included. If you arrive early and need to travel to the airport for the meetup, you can conveniently take a 17-minute train ride from Krakow Glowny main train station, which costs a couple of dollars.

      On your last day, you will reach the airport around 11.30 am.

    • We highly recommend that you cover all your bases with both emergency medical and travel insurance. With medical insurance, if you have an accident or medical emergency on or off the mountain, you’ll avoid paying out of pocket for costly expenses. This covers everything from hospital treatments to emergency air transportation and more.

      Travel insurance covers canceled flights, natural disasters and other scenarios that may interrupt your travel plans.

      We also expect you to respect local regulations and take measures to protect yourselves, your guides, and the communities you’re traveling to.
