Deposits

When booking a trip, you can either pay for it in full or reserve your spot with a 30% deposit. The remaining 70% of the trip price is to be paid 90 days prior to departure, at the latest.

Cancellations

After 48 hours, booking fees are non-refundable in all cases. You can choose one of 57hours’ flexibility options:

  • If canceled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
  • If canceled 60 or more days before departure, a 70% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled within 59 days of departure, no refund will be issued.
  • Booking fees are non-refundable after a 48-hour grace period.
Flexible
  • If canceled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
  • If canceled 60 or more days before departure, a full refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled 30-59 days before departure, a 50% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled within 29 days of departure, no refund will be issued.

    • Depart from Crans-Montana towards Leukerbad, passing through picturesque Alpine scenery and some iconic trails. Enjoy a delightful stop at a local vineyard, where you can taste some regional delicacies. Following this, take on the climb to the spa haven of Leukerbad, famous for its natural hot springs.

      *Please note that accommodations are subject to availability and it may not be possible to book the exact accommodations listed day-by-day in the itinerary (if there is a detailed list).

    • This tour is meant for riders with a solid intermediate level of mountain biking skills and decent fitness. The e-bike helps with climbs, but you should be comfortable riding on gravel paths, forest trails, and some rocky sections. Expect a mix of smooth flowy trails and a few technical segments, but nothing too extreme.

      Recommended riding experience: Some prior mountain biking experience, including handling light off-road terrain.

      Recommended endurance training: Regular cycling, hiking, or other cardio workouts 2–3 times per week to build stamina is recommended prior to the trip.

    • Here’s a list of the equipment you need to bring:

        • Day pack with a rain cover large enough to carry everything you might need (minimum 20L capacity)
        • Mountain bike-specific helmet
        • Mountain bike shoes — comfortable enough for short hikes
        • Bike gloves
        • Sunglasses
        • Knee and elbow pads
        • Waterproof jacket
        • At least 2 pairs of biking shorts
        • A mix of short-sleeved and long-sleeved biking jerseys
        • Long-sleeved base layers — preferably merino wool
        • At least 4 pairs of socks
        • Buff (neck gaiter)
        • Warm down jacket, hat, and gloves — highly recommended for cold nights
        • Sunscreen
        • A hydration system such as Camelbak
        • Towel
        • Swimsuit for potential water activities
        • Toiletry bag with all of your personal necessities

      Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season.

    • Group sizes and pricing

        • For this group adventure, the usual client-to-guide ratio is 6:1.
        • It takes a minimum of 4 people for this tour to operate.

      This e-bike tour in the Swiss Valais can be arranged for larger groups. Contact us to make arrangements.

      Min. age requirements

        • If you are older than 18, you’re good to go.
        • Minors younger than 18 will not be permitted to join the Valais bike tour.
    • The starting point of this Valais bike holiday is the Nendaz municipality in Valais, Switzerland. To get there, most people fly into Geneva International Airport or Zürich International Airport in Switzerland.

      From Geneva International Airport, you can take a train (2h30min), bus (3h), or rent a car and drive to Nendaz (1h50min).

      From Zürich International Airport, you can take a train to Visp, and another train to Nendaz (3h30min), or rent a car and drive straight there (3h)

      Once you’re there, you will meet your guide at your hotel. The accommodations will be announced to you in advance.
