Liability waivers are a standard part of all guided outdoor adventures. For this trip, acknowledging the risks and agreeing to sign the waiver is mandatory before the trip. This is required in order to join the adventure—please check more details in the FAQ section.

Deposits

When booking a trip, you can either pay for it in full or reserve your spot with a 30% deposit. The remaining 70% of the trip price is to be paid 90 days prior to departure, at the latest.

Cancellations

After 48 hours, booking fees are non-refundable in all cases. You can choose one of 57hours’ flexibility options:

  • If canceled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
  • If canceled 90 or more days before departure, a 70% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled within 89 days of departure, no refund will be issued.
  • Booking fees are non-refundable after a 48 hours grace period.
Flexible
  • If canceled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
  • If canceled 90 or more days before departure, a full refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled 60-89 days before departure, a 50% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled within 59 days of departure, no refund will be issued.

  • This is a 12-day kayaking liveaboard experience in Raja Ampat. If you're short on time, there's also an 8-day version available.

    We don’t use the word paradise lightly—but this is as close as you can get to it on Earth, and you’ll find it in Indonesia. Raja Ampat is a wondrous archipelago of thousands of islands straddling the equator, countless of which you’ll sail through over the course of 12 days on your luxurious yacht. The best way to witness Raja Ampat’s unique limestone formations and seascape is by paddling and diving—and that’s exactly what your days will be filled with. Along with your expert guides, attentive crew, and an incredible team, you’ll want to stay here forever!

    • We will pick you up from the airport and transport you directly to the yacht. Once everyone has arrived, we will meet the crew, have a safety briefing and set sail for the southern end of Raja Ampat. We will cruise all night long in order to arrive at our destination.

    • We will awake to the most southerly islands of our trip to Misool. We will spend the morning and afternoon outings kayaking and diving Wayil Island.

    • We will have a short transfer to Segaf Island and spend both morning and afternoon excursions exploring Islands in this area.

    • As the morning comes, we’ll find ourselves on the southeastern tip of the Misool Island Chain. Spend the morning and the afternoon kayaking and diving.

    • We’ll take a short cruise to the next island in the Misool chain, Lenkafal. We’ll be dropped off at the southeastern tip for an extended outing, exploring the many hidden coves and corners of the island. We’ll rejoin the yacht in time for lunch, then spend the afternoon continuing our exploration of Lenkafal by kayak and snorkel.

    • A short cruise will take us to the “Thousand Temple Islets,” where we’ll spend the day exploring this maze of intricate islands in every shape and size. We’ll paddle over shallow reefs and deep lagoons, beneath archways, and through hidden limestone passages.

    • Over these 2 days, we will continue to explore the Thousand Temple Islets. In the afternoon, we’ll make our way north to the Northern Islands of Raja
      Ampat.

    • We will arrive near Pef Island mid morning of day 9. Our morning paddle will be an exploration of Hidden Lagoon, where we seem to discover something new every time we are here. Our afternoon kayak will be a meandering paddle through Pef Island, with limestone cliffs, mangrove passages, and beautiful outer waters views.

    • We’ll head to the southern shore of Gam Island and paddle into Mangrove Lagoon, winding through its maze of mangrove channels until we reach three inland marine lakes. Here, we’ll keep an eye out for dugongs—up to twelve have been spotted in the area. On the far side of the lakes, we’ll enter another network of mangrove passages that eventually lead us back to the open ocean, where the yacht will be waiting.

    • Today, we’ll explore Kabui Bay, weaving our way through hundreds of limestone islands. This maze of islands and passageways creates a circular route, leading us back to meet the yacht where we began. Along the way, we’ll visit an island with ancient petroglyphs etched into its cliffs. Tonight, we sail back to Sorong and enjoy a final group dinner onboard.

    • Morning arrival into Sorong. Enjoy a farewell breakfast before packing up and bidding goodbye to the boat crew. The trip concludes with a transfer to the airport. It would be best to book flights that depart Sorong after 11am.

    • This kayak & multisport adventure in Raja Ampat is beginner-friendly, so if you’re generally active and have an adventurous spirit, you’ll enjoy this trip.

      Kayaking is the main activity of this trip. The aim is to have two kayaking outings a day. The waters are calm and protected, with some dynamic paddling, but overall, the pace is relaxed. Non-swimmers are welcome to join the kayaking.

      Raja Ampat offers some incredible diving opportunities, but you’ll need to have a dive certification and dive insurance to dive on this trip. Whether you’re newly certified or experienced, you can join in. There are 3 free dives during the trip, and additional dives have an extra fee. Diving gear rental isn’t included in the cost, but can be rented.

      Snorkeling is included on every dive outing, and no prior experience is needed. Please bring your own gear or rent it. A divemaster will accompany every outing. Flotation devices are provided for comfort, and non-swimmers can also participate.

      This adventure is truly flexible—you’re free to kayak, dive, snorkel, or just relax on the boat or shore. Your guides are also happy to accommodate special needs or mobility issues. Whatever your fitness level or preference, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

    • Liability waivers are a standard part of all guided outdoor adventures. Recently, the requirements have become a bit more rigorous for ACMG guides—meaning that you’ll need to agree to the signing of the waiver at the time of booking.

      Prior to booking, we ask you to review the waiver. During the checkout process, you’ll have to acknowledge the risks and agree to the signing of the waiver. You are required to bring a printed copy on the trip.

      Please note that signing and agreeing to the terms of the waiver is required in order to join this adventure. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us prior to booking.

    • Here’s a list of the equipment you need to bring:

        • Day pack large enough to carry all the items listed (around a 25-40L bag)
        • Diving & snorkeling gear (can be rented on the yacht)
        • Water bottle or hydration bladder (2L capacity)
        • Stinger suit — optional
        • Bathing suit
        • Lightweight hiking boots or shoes
        • Spare clothes for layering
        • Waterproof rain jacket
        • Sunhat
        • Toiletries (sunscreen, hand sanitizer, bug spray, toilet paper, etc.)
        • Headlamp or flashlight
        • Sunglasses
        • Camera — optional (but recommended)

      Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season. Layers are best and don’t wear jeans.

    • Group sizes and prices:

        • For this kayaking and multisport tour in Raja Ampat, there will be 1 kayaking guide and 2 divemasters onboard.
        • It takes a minimum of 8 people for the tour to operate. The maximum number of people is set at 10 participants.

      Kayaking in Raja Ampat can be arranged for larger groups. Contact us to make arrangements.

      Min. age requirements:

        • If you are older than 18, you’re good to go.
        • Minors younger than 18 may be permitted to join the hike on a case-by-case basis, but must be in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.

      If your group has hikers under the age of 18, contact us prior to booking to make arrangements.

    • You’ll board your yacht in Sorong, the largest city and the capital of the Indonesian province of Southwest Papua. To get there, most people fly into Domine Eduard Osok Airport (SOQ) in Sorong.

      If arriving into Sorong on Day 1 of the trip, make sure your flight is scheduled to land before 8 am. You will be met at the airport and transferred to the boat.

      Still, a better idea might be arriving to Sorong at least a day prior to the trip. Your guides will pick you up in the morning of Day 1 and transfer you to the boat.
