Deposits

When booking a trip, you can either pay for it in full or reserve your spot with a 30% deposit. The remaining 70% of the trip price is to be paid 90 days prior to departure, at the latest.

Cancellations

After 48 hours, booking fees are non-refundable in all cases. You can choose one of 57hours’ flexibility options:

  • If canceled 90 or more days before departure, a 70% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
  • If canceled within 89 days of departure, no refund will be issued.

From the cinematic shores of Mamma Mia! fame to hidden villages where time slows down, this trip is a headliner. Picture swimming in turquoise coves, pedaling through olive groves, and toasting the sunset from your private deck.     • Individual arrival in Skiathos. Check in begins in Skiathos town from 2pm. Use the afternoon for a stroll through the lively old town of Skiathos, enjoy a chilled beverage on the wooded Bourtzi peninsula, or take a refreshing dip in the sea. Later on, it’s dinner on board and an overnight stay in Skiathos.

    • In the morning, the boat will take us on a long crossing to Alonissos. On the way, we will make a swimming stop in a beautiful bay. Once we arrive in the port of Patitiri, we will go on our first short bike tour on Alonissos in the afternoon. This warm-up tour takes us along quiet roads up to the enchanting old island capital of Palaia Chora, which we will then explore on foot.

      Countless photo opportunities await us in the winding alleyways and we can enjoy the typical Greek island atmosphere during a coffee break in the shady main square. Later on, we’ll make our way back to Patitiri, where we can round off the eventful first day with a delicious dinner in one of the tavernas located right on the beach.

      Alonissos island
    • Today, we will explore the entire island of Alonissos by bike. The tour takes us from Patitiri to the beach of Chrysi Milia, whose colors are reminiscent of the Caribbean. Here you can swim or enjoy a coffee before continuing towards the fishing villages of Steni Vala and Kalamakia to Agios Dimitrios beach.

      The route continues onto a high plateau and finally follows a long descent into the bay of Gerakas, where the boat awaits us for lunch. In the afternoon, we will cross over to the neighboring island of Skopelos. The boat trip takes us through the protected marine park, which is home to a colony of the rare Mediterranean monk seal as well as many other animal species. In the evening, you can explore Skopelos town on foot and dine in a restaurant of your choice.

    • Skopelos simply has everything that makes for a successful day of cycling: high mountains,
      incredible panoramas, evergreen forests, rugged coastlines, and great beaches. We’ll start from Skopelos town and cycle along a panoramic road through the impressive mountain world to the lighthouse at Cape Gourouni.

      On the way to Loutraki, we will also pass the beach of Perivoliou. We’ll take a break and enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear sea and lunch in the quaint beach bar. Afterwards, we will cycle past the mountain village of Glossa to the port of Loutraki, where we will spend the night.

    • In the morning, we’ll cross to Euboea, the second largest island in Greece. Euboea is much less well-known than its glamorous neighboring islands in the Aegean, although the island is in no way inferior to the others in terms of scenic beauty and cultural diversity. Our ship will take us to the north coast of Euboea.

      Today’s cycle tour takes us from Pefki through the traditional mountain villages of Avgaria and Galatsona to the beautiful port of Ore where our ship awaits us for a late lunch on board. We can spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing on the boat or on the nearby sandy beach before rounding off the day with individual dinners in one of the harbours’ taverns.

      Euboea island in Greece
    • On Day 6, our boat will take us to the Pelion peninsula, where a breathtaking landscape awaits. Pelion was one of the main filming locations for the “Mamma Mia” movie. Today’s tour begins in the picturesque harbor of Agia Kyriaki and takes us past the mountain village of Trikeri to the bay of Alogoporos, where we can give our bikes a rest and take a sea taxi to the care-free mini-island of Palao Trikeri.

      A visit to the Greek Orthodox monastery of the Virgin Mary or a swim on one of the island’s beaches is available. Later, there is time for an individual lunch in one of the traditional island’s tavernas before the sea cab takes us back to Alogoporos. From there, we will continue our journey by e-bike until we reach the port of Kotte for dinner on board and a good night’s sleep.

      Pelion island in Greece
    • We’ll cycle for 25 km (15.5 mi) along the beautiful coast of Pelion. We’ll then take a coffee break in the harbor town of Milina before tackling the final climb of our journey and reaching the port of Platania. The boat will be waiting for us there and we will cross over to Skiathos. In the afternoon, a transfer will pick you up from Skiathos town and take you to the monastery of Evangelistria and the Parissis winery, where you can enjoy some of the best wines of the Spora islands. Later, over a last delicious dinner on board, you will say goodbye to your guides and crew.

    • This boat and bike tour in Greece is rated easy, meaning that it’s beginner-friendly. A good basic level of fitness is required. The tours and the elevation changes are very manageable with an e-bike (22-42 km (13.6-26 mi) and 300-900 m (984-2,952 ft) of elevation gain per day). Each day, the tour guide will inform you about the tour details.

    • A free Wi-Fi connection is available on the ship. On the open seas, reception cannot be guaranteed at all times. If you need stable Internet access, it’s recommended that you take your tablet / laptop / smartphone to a cafe or bar at the port.

    • All e-bikes are high-quality pedelecs, most of them fitted with Bosch motors with extra battery range. They are relatively lightweight, so you’ll be able to climb almost any hill with ease. For the duration of the tour, you’ll be supplied with a waterproof pannier by Ortlieb, a practical way of carrying drinks, bathing gear, camera, etc. To ensure that the bike panniers remain waterproof, they have to be closed tightly.

      Please note that helmets are mandatory—while it’s advised to bring your own, well fitted helmet with you, it may be possible to rent out one. Reservation is needed so please let us know at booking.

    • Here’s a list of the equipment you need to bring:

      Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season. Layers are best and don’t wear jeans.

    • Group sizes and pricing

        • For this boat and bike tour in Greece, the usual client-to-guide ratio is 8:1. Depending on the number of people, there can be between 1 and 3 professional guides per trip.
        • It takes a minimum of 14 people for this tour to operate. The maximum group size is set at 18 participants.
        • While solo travelers are welcome, please note that a single supplement is mandatory (50% of the tour price, and this depends on availability and season). It’s not possible to join as a solo traveller and share a cabin with another guest. If interested in joining solo, please let us know before booking!
        • If not enough participants sign up, your guides reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Your guides will let you know as soon as possible, at least three weeks prior to the start of the trip.

      Min. age requirements

        • If you are older than 18, you’re good to go.
        • Minors older than 10 may be permitted to join the boat and bike tour in Greece on a case-by-case basis, but must be in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.
        • Children up to the age of 16 are eligible for a 200-euro discount (double occupancy). None of these are combinable with other discounts. As there’s limited availability, please let us know if you’re interested prior to booking and we’ll get back to you!

      If your group has cyclists under the age of 18, contact us prior to booking to make arrangements.

    • The starting point of your boat and bike tour in Greece is Skiathos Town. To get there, most people fly into Skiathos Airport (JSI). From there, you can take a shuttle service, call a taxi, or rent a car to reach Skiathos Town.

      Once you’re there, you will meet your guide at 2pm in the port of Skiathos Town.

      You will usually find the ship either on the side of the main pier facing the Bourtzi peninsula or on the promenade. You can check in on board from 2pm on the day of embarkation. If you have difficulty finding your ship in the port of Skiathos, please call your guide. The number will be provided in the travel documents.
