  • Enjoy a 7-day hiking exploration of the Pacific Northwest in the jaw-dropping Olympic and Mount Rainier National Parks and discover what makes them so spectacular. Let your knowledgeable guide navigate you through the various ecoregions and immerse yourself in hiking while enjoying the views of abundant wildlife, colossal mountains, alpine meadows and unique plant species. Kayak across the stunning Lake Crescent, set up camps in various spots along the parks, marvel at the impressive Mount Rainier and much more! Wrap up this hiking experience by heading to Seattle and exploring this famous city.

    • Arrive in Seattle and meet your guide by mid-morning for transfer to Olympic National Park. We’ll kick things off with a short afternoon hike along picturesque Hurricane Ridge for dramatic views of the Olympic Range. In the evening, we’ll set up camp at Sol Duc Campground, get to know one another, and review our full adventure.

      Meals: Dinner

    • Today is spent exploring Rialto Beach. After a leisurely morning, we’ll do a coastal hike to see the massive rock formations along the water, and visit the famous Tree of Life. We’ll learn all about the aquatic wildlife in this one-of-a-kind location where massive conifers grow right up to the water’s edge. In the afternoon, we’ll drive to the Hoh Rainforest for a walk through the dense, lush forest.

      Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

    • This morning, we’ll pack up and head to the stunning Lake Crescent for a serene morning paddle on its beautiful waters. It’s absolutely suitable for beginners and you’ll cruise along the lake for around 2 hours. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for birds overhead as you take in the dramatic landscape.

      Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

    • After packing up camp, make the drive off the peninsula to the base of Tahoma (Mount Rainier). We’ll stop for lunch along the drive (not included) and will settle into our camp at White River, just inside the park’s entrance. Depending on timing, we may take an optional walk along the river and out to the foot of the vast Emmons Glacier. We’ll enjoy a hearty camp cooked dinner tonight.

      Meals: Breakfast, dinner

    • Today marks the most challenging day of the week with a full-day hike on Mount Rainier. Head up to the stunning Yakima Park (Sunrise) area. If the mountain is feeling generous, the views that we’ll see of the massive Tahoma are unparalleled throughout the day, sure to take your breath away. Even on overcast days, though, the park’s wildlife and rocky landscape are jaw dropping. We’ll cover about 8 miles with some challenging elevation as we hike into rugged alpine landscapes and back down through beautiful meadows.

After our day, we’ll have one final group meal back at camp – and a toast to our adventure!

      Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Today’s activities may include a visit to Pike Place Market, the Chihuly sculpture garden, or one of the many Regional Tribal Cultural Centers.
