  • This tour runs from Dubrovnik to Split—if you'd prefer to start near Split and finish in Dubrovnik, check out the other itinerary. Inclusions and everything else remains the same (plus with this direction, you get a chance to try whitewater rafting).

This 8-day e-bike and sailing cruise takes you through seven Dalmatian islands aboard a 144 ft (44 m) luxury yacht. Each day brings a new island and a choice of routes—short or long, flat or hilly—with local guides leading the way on e-bikes through stone villages, olive groves, and coastal roads that most visitors never find. Everything is taken care of: rides, meals, and a jacuzzi sundeck to come back to at the end of the day.

    • Arrive in Dubrovnik and meet for a guided walking tour of the old town—limestone streets, city walls, and Baroque churches that have been drawing visitors for centuries. Welcome dinner on board, then a short evening sail to the island of Šipan.

      Meals: Dinner
      Accommodation: Luxury Voyage yacht

      Panorama of Dubrovnik, Croatia
    • Morning ride on Mljet, the forested island in Croatia’s far south. Quiet roads wind through the national park, past the two saltwater lakes and the small medieval monastery on an island in the larger one. After the ride, we sail to Korčula for a guided walk through the medieval old town—a compact walled peninsula often called “Little Dubrovnik” and long associated with Marco Polo.

      Meals: Breakfast, lunch or dinner
      Long route cycling: Sobra – Pomena | 40 km (25 mi) | 700 m (2,300 ft)
      Short route cycling: Pomena – Great Lake – Polače – Pomena | 22 km (14 mi) | 250 m (820 ft)
      Accommodation: Luxury Voyage yacht

    • We ride the length of Korčula in the other direction—from the medieval town at the eastern tip all the way west to Vela Luka—through vineyards, olive groves, coastal villages, and open island roads with the sea on both sides.

      Meals: Breakfast, lunch or dinner
      Cycling: Korčula Town – Vela Luka | 60 km (37 mi) | 1,000 m (3,280 ft)
      Accommodation: Luxury Voyage yacht

    • Morning sail to Vis, one of Croatia’s most unspoiled islands. Ride a loop, join the military history tour (€50, payable locally), or rest up on deck. Optional: wine tasting in a converted military bunker.

      Accommodation: Luxury Voyage yacht

      Vis flowers view
    • Morning sail to Hvar Town, then a ride across the island toward Stari Grad—one of Europe’s oldest continuously inhabited towns, with a Venetian-era agricultural plain still farmed much as it was in antiquity. Route options for all levels.

      Meals: Breakfast, lunch or dinner
      Long route cycling: Hvar – Stari Grad – Jelsa – Stari Grad | 45 km (28 mi) | 700 m (2,300 ft)

    • To join this Croatia bike and sail cruise, good fitness is required. Daily cycling ranges from 10 to 60 km (6 to 37 mi), and most days offer a short and a long version of the route. This tour is imagined as an e-bike trip.

The longest stages involve up to 1,000 m (3,280 ft) of elevation gain on hilly island terrain. That said, you’re never carrying luggage, there’s no pressure to take the longer option, and the yacht gives you a comfortable place to recover between riding days—making the week ideal for different fitness levels.

Your guide offers e-bike rentals, just leave us a note at checkout if interested.

    • Comes down to whichever bookends your trip better—the sailing, riding, yacht, guides, meals, and price are the same either way, just run in opposite directions. Start near Split in Trogir and finish in Dubrovnik, or start in Dubrovnik and finish near Split. The one real difference: the Dubrovnik-to-Split route wraps up with the option to add white-water rafting on the Cetina River (€50, payable locally) on your last day of riding. Want to end the week on that note? Go that direction. Otherwise, pick whichever city works better for your flights.

    • You’ll probably love it if:

        • You’re comfortable putting in real hours on a bike, even with the e-assist—daily distances run 6 to 37 mi (10 to 60 km), with the toughest stretches climbing up to 3,280 ft (1,000 m) across seven islands.
        • You like having a short and a long route most days, so you can push harder on the Korčula crossing and ease off when you’d rather not.
        • You’d rather have the logistics handled and the local knowledge handed to you—2 to 3 Croatian guides ride with the group daily, pointing you toward the villages, tastings, and viewpoints you’d otherwise ride right past.
        • Not carrying a single bag between islands sounds like a win—the yacht’s your basecamp every night; the e-bike does the heavy lifting on the climbs.
        • You’re fine sharing a 44-meter yacht with up to 37 people and riding to a set daily plan, not a fully private, custom pace.
        • Ending a riding day in the jacuzzi or off the swim platform beats another hotel check-in.
    • Here’s a list of the equipment you need to bring:

        • Day pack for cycling (15–25L)
        • Cycling shoes
        • Comfortable cycling clothes
        • Casual clothes for evenings on the boat
        • Spare layers and a windproof jacket
        • Swimwear
        • Sunhat
        • Toiletries (sunscreen, insect repellent, etc.)
        • Sunglasses
        • Camera—optional (but recommended)

Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season. Layers are best and don’t wear jeans.

        • For the Dubrovnik to Split itinerary, the starting point is Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) is about 20 km (12 mi) from the old town; a taxi takes approximately 30 minutes. The tour ends in Split, from where it takes around 23 km (14.3 mi) to get to Split Airport (SPU).
