We’ll first take a lift to the Stoppani mountain hut (7,992 ft / 2,436 m). From here, we’ll walk along the Benini section of the via ferrata, an equipped path to the Tuckett Refuge—where we will spend the night.

      Walking hours: 5-6 hours

    • Starting from the Alimonta mountain hut, we’ll quickly reach Bocca d’Armi, passing through the eponymous small glacier. From here begins the via ferrata section called Bocchette Centrali, certainly the most evocative of the three routes, which will lead us to Bocca di Brenta (8,373 ft / 2,552 m), passing under walls and spires of Vertical Dolomia. From here, the descent will begin which will take us back to Madonna di Campiglio, passing through the brand new Brentei mountain hut, through the Casinei mountain hut, and finally to the Vallesinella mountain hut (5,085 ft / 1,550 m). The Adamello-Brenta Nature Park minibus will then take us back to the starting point in Madonna di Campiglio, followed by dinner and last evening celebrations.

      Walking hours: 6-7 hours
      Elevation gain: 400 m
