Your first day of skiing!* Day 1 is all about warming up and assessing your skiing level at the two south-facing ski resorts above Chamonix—Brevent and Flegère. If there’s one must-do run in Chamonix, it’s the Vallée Blanche! This is a full mountain experience that begins with a ride on the Aiguille du Midi cable car (12,621 ft / 3,847 m) and leads to a thrilling descent to Chamonix while traversing glaciers. This is an ungroomed, backcountry and glacier run, and your safety will be our top priority. Rest assured, your mountain guide will provide all the necessary safety equipment. If conditions are favorable, this day will likely be the highlight of your trip!
It’s time to explore the Swiss side of the Alps. Verbier, one of Switzerland’s largest ski resorts, offers a multitude of possibilities. Referred to as the “4th valley,” you can opt for backcountry adventures or stick to the groomed runs, making it a versatile destination for all skiers.
Megeve, located about a 40-minute drive from Chamonix, is a highly fashionable French ski resort. This extensive resort boasts numerous excellent restaurants, some of which have earned Michelin stars. The terrain in Megeve is more open and less steep than Chamonix, providing the perfect setting for you to enjoy your final day of skiing. Make sure to reach Chamonix at least a day prior to the ski day in Brevent and Flegère. This is because a day before skiing, on Day 0, your guide will assist you in arranging ski passes and then meet you in town for a general briefing along with the latest snow updates. Do a gear check, discuss your plans and objectives, and get to know them over a cup of coffee. Your adventure starts tomorrow. Please note that accommodation is not included in this itinerary.
