Today, we arrive in the charming town of Cortina d’Ampezzo, known as the jewel of the Dolomites. This picturesque town is surrounded by majestic peaks and holds a rich history spanning over 1,000 years. As a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, its beauty is undeniable. The town’s bustling pedestrian center is within easy walking distance from our hotel, offering access to museums, galleries, and local attractions.
For those interested in history and culture, the Ethnographic Museum provides insight into local traditions, while the “Rinaldo Zardini” Palaeontological Museum houses an impressive collection of fossils. Our running guide will meet us at the hotel before dinner at approximately 6pm to answer any questions and discuss the days ahead.
