Cancellation policy

The percentages in the table above are of the full trip price, not of what you’ve paid at the time of booking.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of booking receive a full refund on all plans, including booking fees and insurance. After the 48-hour window, your refund depends on your selected protection plan and when you cancel. Core and Premium plans extend your cancellation rights beyond the Standard policy:

  • With Core, a covered reason gets you 75% of your trip cost back — even the day before you go.
  • With Premium, a covered reason gets you 100% of your trip cost back — and any other reason gets you 75%, right up to the day you leave.
What counts as a covered reason
  • Sudden illness or injury — yours, a travel companion’s, or an immediate family member’s, confirmed by a doctor
  • Death of a traveler or an immediate family member
  • A natural disaster affecting your destination or your departure point
  • A government travel advisory against travel to your destination

Changing your mind isn’t a covered reason. Premium is the only plan that covers that. Documentation is required for all insurance claims.

Everything the travel insurance covers

Both plans include travel insurance through Redpoint Travel Protection. Core insures 75% of your trip cost; Premium insures 100%.

Maximum per person:

  • Trip cancellation — up to 100% of your trip cost
  • Cancel for any reason — up to 75% of your trip cost (Premium only)
  • Trip interruption — 150% of the trip cost limit
  • Trip delay — $200 a day, $1,000 max
  • Itinerary change — $250
  • Single occupancy supplement — up to 100% of trip cost
  • Missed connection — $1,000
  • Travel inconvenience — $250 each, $750 max
  • Pet return — $1,000 per pet
  • Baggage and personal effects — $2,500, max $300 an item
  • Baggage delay — $600, after 12 hours
  • Baggage delivery — $100 per trip
  • Emergency medical expenses — $100,000
  • Medical evacuation and repatriation — up to $1,000,000

These are maximums. What a claim actually pays depends on what you can document and on the policy’s exclusions — pre-existing conditions and undeclared activities among them. We’ll send the full policy wording with your confirmation.

  • Gear up for a proper 8-day ski holiday in Morzine from Chalet Hubert for good times, great riding, and a side of comfort. Days spent with like-minded snow lovers have a way of sorting themselves out—whether that's charging first lifts, meeting for sunny lunch breaks, or exploring local favorites with the hosts who know every corner of these slopes. We've handled the essentials: cozy accommodation, loaded breakfasts, home-cooked dinners, and a fully stocked fridge, all from a perfectly placed base in the heart of town. Come curious and leave with some new friends!

    • Welcome to Morzine! Your adventure starts at Chalet Hubert, where you’ll meet your friendly live-in hosts and the rest of the group. Expect a mix of solo travelers, couples and small groups of skiers and boarders of different skill levels. We’ll get to know each other and chat about the week ahead over welcome drinks, then probably head out for a casual dinner in town (not included in the price).

      Accommodation: Chalet Hubert

The ski resort town of Morzine at dusk
    • We start each day with a hearty breakfast before heading into the Portes du Soleil region, and the rest of the program is completely flexible—find a friend and choose your pace, ride solo or with your hosts, or mix & match! Beginners might spend some time finding their feet, the more ambitious ones will probably go hunt for powder, and the chalet hosts will show us their favorite pistes and après spots! Some of us may even skip some rides to bond over vin chaud and lunch. When the lifts close, we’ll either share home-cooked meals back at the chalet or discover Morzine’s best spots together!

Meals: Breakfast, picnic lunch, and dinner
      Accommodation: Chalet Hubert

Two skiers in colorful outfits on a snowy mountain slope in Morzine
    • We’ll share one last breakfast with the hosts and group—though by now it will feel like hanging out with old friends. Time to pack up and head off with new riding buddies and great memories. Who knows—we might meet again on these slopes!
