  • This 7-day BC heli skiing adventure features 6 incredible days of skiing—same concept as the 5-day trip, plus extra time to explore deeper into the mountains.

British Columbia heli skiing in the far north is an experience like no other. Over 7 unforgettable days—with 6 full days on the slopes—you’ll chase true “first ever” tracks through vast, untouched terrain, including two glaciers and the majestic Juneau Icefield. The northern snowpack stays light and stable deep into spring, making every descent a dream. Evenings are just as magical: aurora-lit skies, snowshoeing, ice fishing, or unwinding in the sauna. It’s more than a ski tripd—it’s adventure, exploration, and the wild spirit of the gold rush reborn.

    • Arrival day is all about arriving, settling in, and soaking up where you’ve landed. You’ll be greeted in Whitehorse, and we’ll take you to our lodge and your deluxe cabin overlooking the vast beauty of Atlin Lake—our home base for the week. Today moves at your pace: unpack, relax, meet your guides, and get a taste of the days ahead. As evening falls, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner, share stories, and talk through the plan for the adventure that’s about to unfold.

      Meals: Dinner
      Accommodation: Cabin overlooking a lake

      Heli flying BC
    • This is where the real adventure begins. Each morning, the heli lifts you into the mountains to chase big, bold Alaskan-style lines and that legendary BC powder. Every run is a new discovery—vast descents, untouched peaks, and the thrill of skiing where few ever have. And on the rare days weather keeps us grounded, the adventure doesn’t stop. Take a snowmobile out across the frozen lake, try ice fishing or dogsledding, race stock cars, or head out on snowshoes or cross-country skis. Here, we have it all—and it’s all included.

      Meals: Breakfasts, lunches, dinners
      Accommodation: Cabin overlooking a lake

      Two skiers heli ski trip

    • This trip offers something else—it’s a mix of big, bold Alaskan lines and Canada’s legendary powder.

Your guides are based in Atlin, BC, near Juneau, Alaska, and 2 hours southeast of Whitehorse, Yukon. At the turn of the century, gold fever put Atlin on the map—making Atlin a real gold rush town! Tucked away in the far northwestern corner of British Columbia on BC’s largest natural lake, Atlin remains a hidden gem: peaceful, isolated, and untouched by the outside world.

Atlin is home to just 475 people—a small fraction of its gold rush heyday—yet its frontier spirit has never faded. The town has endured, transformed, and found new treasures in its wild surroundings. Today, it’s a different kind of gold rush: one for skiers chasing untouched lines and the thrill of discovery. Adventure still runs deep through these mountains, and so does the community. In the North, people look out for one another—and that genuine connection is the real gold you’ll find here.

    • To join this British Columbia heli skiing adventure, we recommend skiers and boarders be intermediate (blue) to advanced (black) ski resort skiers/riders, but all abilities can be accommodated.

If you feel relatively comfortable on varied terrain and snow conditions, you should be fine. As you progress through the trip, your confidence and capabilities will grow and your guides will be able to introduce you to more challenging terrain. The best way to learn to ski deep powder is to ski deep powder!

If you want to take advantage of this unlimited vertical, fitness is important. If you want to be skiing consecutive days, the fitter you are, the better your ski holiday will be and the more fun you will have.

This adventure also offers amazing activities (dog sledding, snow mobiles, x-country skiing, snowshoes and aurora tours). There’s lots of fun things to do for those wanting to take a “rest day” or “non-skiers” still wanting to join the fun!

    • Liability waivers are a standard part of all guided outdoor adventures. Recently, the requirements have become a bit more rigorous for ACMG guides—meaning that you’ll need to agree to the signing of the waiver at the time of booking.

Prior to booking, we ask you to review the waiver. During the checkout process, you’ll have to acknowledge the risks and agree to the signing of the waiver. You are required to bring a printed copy on the trip.

Please note that signing and agreeing to the terms of the waiver is required in order to join this adventure. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us prior to booking.

    • Being in the northwest corner of BC, tucked under the Yukon and bordering Alaska, this area has the most consistent, best guaranteed snow on the planet! Atlin is warmer than Whitehorse and the closer you get to Alaska and the coast, the deeper the snowpack gets—this British Columbia heli skiing adventure is one of a kind.

With this massive terrain, your guides can hand pick the best conditions every day. The future of heli skiing is in the north as southern climates get warmer and wetter. February through May offers the best snow in this neck of the woods. The snow here stays dry, as you can imagine, which means bottomless powder through February, March, April, and even May. Spring skiing brings long days and endless light as we near the solstice.

    • Absolutely. It’s your vacation, so you can ski for as long or as short a day as you wish. In fact, some guests prefer to ski a half day or come in earlier to relax before après begins. Your guide and pilots will accommodate this by coordinating with one of our helicopters coming to the lodge to refuel.

The lodge you’ll be staying at is a vacation destination in itself. You’ll have a beautiful acreage overlooking Atlin Lake, with space to snowshoe, cross-country ski, skate on the lake, soak in the hot tub, unwind in the sauna, or kick back in the evening and watch the northern lights.
