  • This three-day ski touring adventure in the Silvretta Alps is perfect for beginners looking for a gentle introduction to hut-to-hut touring. Guided by an experienced UIAGM mountain guide, we’ll explore wide alpine valleys, serene glaciers, and high passes with breathtaking views of peaks like Piz Buin! Combining manageable skiing, cozy alpine lodges, and peaceful scenery, it’s an ideal escape for anyone seeking adventure, fresh air, and tranquility away from crowded resorts.

    • We’ll depart early after breakfast—whether from Bludenz or St. Anton—taking a taxi to Partenen in the Montafon Valley. From there, the Vermuntbahn cable car and a thrilling tunnel bus ride carry us up to Bielerhöhe at 2,032 m (6,667 ft), where our alpine adventure begins. After dropping our bags at the overnight lodge and completing an avalanche safety refresher, we’ll set out to explore one of the region’s breathtaking valleys—such as Krommertal or Klostertal—depending on conditions, with highlights including Verhuptsspitze and the stunning Schneeglocke summit. Our guide will support newcomers in learning essential ski touring skills along the way. Evening is spent at one of the Alps’ finest lodges—after a hot shower and (in some lodges) a sauna, we’ll settle in for a delicious three-course dinner.

      Distance: 8-10 km (5-6 mi)

    • After breakfast, we set out for the Wiesbadenerhütte (2,443 m). There are several route options, often beginning with a gentle tour around Silvretta See before ascending through the Bieltal Valley. The early part of the tour is relaxed, providing a perfect warm-up as we gain elevation, with scenic views of the lake, valley, and surrounding peaks. The final approach to the hut involves a moderate climb, including some glaciated sections. Once at Wiesbadenerhütte, we’ll enjoy afternoon tea and cake, a hot shower, and some well-earned relaxation before dinner. This charming, traditional hut offers breathtaking sunrise and sunset views, making it a highlight of the tour.

There are plenty of route options, including excursions toward Egghorn and, weather permitting, even the iconic Piz Buin or Dreiländerspitze. We then return to Bielerhöhe for a second thrilling tunnel descent, followed by a gondola ride and taxi back to Bludenz, arriving mid-afternoon—perfect timing for evening departures from Zurich or to continue on for a second adventure in St. Anton.
