  • A 5-day guided gravel bike tour through the wild landscapes of Norway, riding point to point from Oslo into the heart of Scandinavian wilderness. Following the legendary Mjölkvegen and crossing high alpine plateaus, this trip is designed for active cyclists who want to experience Norway the way it deserves—on gravel, off the beaten path, with all logistics, meals, and accommodation handled. Nights are spent in family-run hotels, mountain lodges, and traditional Norwegian residences, and a certified guide and mechanic ride with the group from start to finish.

    • We meet at Oslo train station or the airport around noon, kick things off with a welcome drink and a quick briefing, then head straight out for an orientation ride through Nordmarka—the vast, wild territory on the outskirts of the capital. It’s the perfect way to get the legs moving and settle into the Scandinavian atmosphere. By the end of the day, we arrive at our accommodation in the heart of nature for a first shared dinner. The magic of the North starts from the very first moment.

    • We leave our stopover hotel in Hallongsdal and ride toward Hemsedal—a ski resort valley that marks the real start of the alpine scenery. Before we get there, we climb a highland plateau for a first proper immersion into the raw Norwegian wilderness. A picnic stop by the Hemsil River breaks up the day before we tackle the next section—deep forests, sparkling lakes, and endless Scandinavian panoramas accompanying every pedal stroke. The day ends at a yoga-focused hotel nestled by a majestic lake, surrounded by peaks. A pick-up van option is available, or a 30 km extension for those who want more.

The route winds between sparkling lakes, silent valleys, and towering ridges, with the Slettefjell Pass as the highlight—a true balcony over the surrounding mountains where grand panoramas unfold in every direction. In the evening, we arrive at Gronole, a family-run residence managed by two brothers with a real passion for hosting. Traditional architecture, warm hospitality, and dinners cooked with care—one of those places you don’t forget.

      Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

    • The biggest day—and the one everyone talks about. We ride the Mjölkvegen, the legendary Milk Road that once connected highland farms across the plateaus, through some of the most breathtaking Nordic landscapes on the route. The climb to the Valdresflye—one of the highest points of the trip—brings lunar-like panoramas and a light that feels unlike anywhere else in Europe. After the effort comes the ritual: a lakeside sauna, and for the brave, a plunge into icy water. We spend the night at Grethe’s family-run hotel near a local ski resort, with an indoor pool and views over the valley you’ve just crossed.

      Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
      Cycling: 90 km (56 mi)
      Elevation: +1,400 m (+4,593 ft)
      Accommodation: Grethe’s family-run hotel

    • A shorter, more contemplative final ride—the forests, the low Nordic light, and the endless landscapes inviting one last quiet look at everything the week has offered. We share a final lunch together in the heart of nature before heading back. We drop everyone off at Oslo train station or the airport around 5 pm, hearts light and memories already solidifying into stories. Takk Norge.
