    • In the afternoon, your guide will meet you at the Avignon TGV train station and drive you to the charming town of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, where we’ll spend your first night. After settling into your hotel, we’ll have a trip briefing with the guide to review the week’s itinerary before enjoying a welcome dinner together.

    • We begin our day hiking through the Alpilles, where nature and culture blend beautifully. The limestone hills are blanketed with olive groves, vineyards, and wild herbs, and the trails lead us to stunning viewpoints over the Provençal countryside. After our walk, we’ll return to explore the charming town of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, with its quaint streets, local markets, and timeless atmosphere.

      Alpilles hiking provence
    • From Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, we set out on a scenic hike toward Les Baux-de-Provence, following trails through the heart of the Alpilles. The route winds past olive groves, vineyards, and rocky ridgelines, revealing panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Upon reaching Les Baux, we’ll explore the medieval village perched high on a limestone plateau—its narrow lanes, castle ruins, and artisan shops capturing the essence of Provence. After lunch in the village, we’ll return to Saint-Rémy by private transfer.

      Les Baux de Provence
    • In the morning, we’ll drive to the stunning Luberon region, famous for its perched villages and Provençal beauty. We’ll explore the area by e-bike, riding through colorful trails, vineyards, and scenic viewpoints with ease. Arriving in Roussillon, we’ll wander its warm-hued streets, charming squares, and artisan shops—a perfect mix of natural beauty and local culture. In the late afternoon, we’ll continue to Gordes, where we’ll stay overnight.

    • Today’s hike takes us from Gordes to the peaceful Abbey of Sénanque, one of Provence’s most iconic settings. The trail winds past lavender fields, vineyards, and olive trees framed by the Luberon hills. Along the way, we may pass sites once used by the Maquisards—local resistance fighters during World War II—adding a touch of history to our walk. Reaching the abbey, its tranquil Romanesque architecture and gardens offer a serene moment before we return to Gordes, where the afternoon is yours to explore this beautiful village at your own pace.

    • We begin the day with a scenic drive through the Provençal countryside to the village of Gigondas. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a guided wine tasting and a leisurely lunch at a local vineyard, savoring the region’s renowned reds paired with seasonal Provençal dishes. Afterward, we’ll take time to explore the charming village, wandering its narrow streets, learning about its history, and soaking in panoramic views of vineyards and rolling hills.

    • Our final day brings us on a scenic hike through the striking limestone ridges of the Dentelles de Montmirail. It’s a fitting finale—gentle adventure paired with the timeless natural beauty of Provence. In the evening, we’ll gather for a farewell dinner with our guide to celebrate the week’s journey.

    • In order to join this Provence tour for women, all that’s required is a basic level of fitness. The most you’ll hike within a day is 9 km (4 mi), with up to 515 m (1,690 ft) of elevation gain. Some days, you’ll take it even easier than that, with relaxing strolls through charming villages. This adventure is open to beginners!         • For this Provence tour for women, the usual client-to-guide ratio is 8:1. 
        • It takes a minimum of 4 people for this tour to operate. The maximum group size is set at 8 participants.

      Min. age requirements

        • If you are older than 18, you’re good to go.
        • Minors younger than 18 may be permitted to join the Provence tour on a case-by-case basis, but must be in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.

    • The starting point of your Provence tour for women is Avignon, France. To get there, most people fly into Marseille Provence Airport (MRS). From there, you can take a shuttle service, public transport, or rent a car to reach Avignon.

      You will meet your guide in the afternoon of Day 1 at Avignon TGV train station. They will then drive you to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence—so if it’s more convenient for you to reach this location, feel free to meet your guide there!
