Day 2: Heli skiing in the Selkirks

JANUARY 22, THU

This is what our partner Selkirk Tangiers heli ski company has to say about skiing in Selkirk Mountain Range.

Our tenure is the largest in Revelstoke. Over 500,000 acres of deep powder, old-growth forests, and massive alpine bowls.
To put it in perspective? That’s 94 times the size of Vail.
More space means more untouched lines, more first descents, and more room to roam.

And here is our schedule…

Morning: Early pick‑up in Revelstoke; head to a heli‑ski operation headquarters. Aim for multiple “drops” into expansive alpine bowls and powder chutes. Guides will manage terrain choice based on conditions and your goals.

Lunch: Backcountry spread—powder breaks with avalanche‑aware transitions.

Afternoon: Return via heli for more runs.

Evening: Relax in town, enjoy a hearty meal, rest up.

Day 3: Backcountry skiing at Mount Macpherson “The Fingers”

JANUARY 23, FRI

Morning: Begin with a short scenic transfer to Mount Macpherson, where the dramatic ridgelines known as “The Fingers” await. Ascent by skinning through sheltered forest transitions into open glacier-fed bowls.

Midday: Reach your drop-in point along a narrow finger of the ridge. From here, enjoy one of Revelstoke’s steepest, most technical descents—fresh powder, tight lines, and the kind of exposure that whispers exhilaration.

Afternoon: Return for more laps. The guides tailor each line to your ambition and current snow conditions, balancing adrenaline with flow and finesse.

Evening: Back in Revelstoke, for a post-ski dinner.
